Hello Dennison.
Well, I'm in Nigeria. I didn't make it to DE last year.
As regards COVID-19, I guess we should all work with an open mind and moderate optimism, in the light of events across the world. Plus, have other countries as backup. It's very important.

Where are my guys? Chriswazo, fabcol, kendocity, eastafro etc..I've missed you all smiley

Is there anyone coming to Jena?

Hello! I got an admission for MSc Quantitative Finance at Christian Albrechts University, Kiel. As a result of the lockdown, they would be holding their lectures online till further notice. I'm currently working and also running weekend program and as a result I would not be available for online lectures, hence I would love to defer my admission till winter semester, perhaps, maybe dates would start rolling before then. Does anyone know if CAU, Kiel does accept request to defer admission to a later semester? Cos I heard that not all schools accept deferral of admission. If they do accept, does it include down payment of any sort?.

I was also admitted for this same program. They do accept deferral and doesn't include a deposit payment

Bro no mind them, the only people I see they bounce back and they share it here because they have not blocked. I didn't hear they send them back because they choose wrong category. @ghettonews Self na because of block account they send am back.

Seriously they have started bouncing 2.1 back now. All my Agents client were bounced back even after they pleaded to be interviewed that 2.1 was accepted as of the time of booking their ADs. And now they have upgraded their Appointment requirements. Maybe one with 2.1 can still book and know if he can still get that confirmation that 2.1 also qualifies atleast now that they have raised their requirements

An update I saw and checked again several times now. The total amount to be blocked now is 10,332euros as against the earlier 10,262.

Please is there anyone that had interview recently, kindly confirm the above pls....

I will not exchange words with you cause it seems you grew up in the gutters, rather I will advise you to tell your brothers, sisters or friends to book category A, maybe they will tell us their story. Tscüss

What's the essence of being a learned person or a graduate, must you insult people before you pass your message? Plz change!!!

His previous account was banned because of this attitude of verbal abuse, attack and threats.
He signed in with another account to continue his ministry.
I've really checked,he's still this kind of a small boy who hasn't really known that this world is a small village.
I don't understand why people get attacked for not agreeing with his opinion.
I don't understand the sin of someone who uploaded the requirements of German embassy directly from their site, stating categorically that category A is for Phd,scholarship and 1st class holders-after January 1st 2018(beginning from 21st March 2021,it would be reduced to only 1st class graduates after 1st January 2019).
Ok,he didn't graduate with 1st class, he booked in category A and has gotten his visa, glory to God.
Some people might follow his pattern and be lucky as well while some might regret it.
He's not the first person who's booked in the wrong category and it turned out positive.
But,he should allow people who want to strictly follow the instructions of the German embassy in booking at the right categories to rest?
Let them be with their choices and accord them that respect. It doesn't call for abuses and threats.
I don't know why he's filled with rage because someone doesn't want to go along with his opinion or suggestion.
Take a new leaf boy, otherwise this kind of life might land you into irrecoverable troubles.
You don't know who is who here.
Some people can track you down with everything within them to make sure you're really dealt with when you provoke them, particularly, when they were not really the ones that attacked you first.
Some people know the school, the course/department and the city you're going to in Germany.
Stop exposing yourself to unnecessary dangers.
Once again, note that this world is a small village.
You can go ahead and insult me as usual, but know that i've built the immune to such juvinile deliquency.
Thank you.

His point is when u are not sure about something do not claim u know it 100%. A lot of people could have tried their luck but due to what u said, they didn't. Its people's future we are talking about.

Incomplete information is as bad as wrong information.

You didn't know where this issue started.
Even if people are giving out wrong or incomplete information, must they be abused?
What are "idiots","rubbish" and "useless people" doing in his comment?
Respect people's opinions,it's simple.
Please, don't add fuel to this already rekindled fire.
If you feel it's wrong, you can address them maturely without any verbal attack.
Those that want to follow the German embassy's instructions are 100% right because the information is obtained from their site.
Those that didn't follow the instructions and booked in the wrong category and succeeded are also right in the sense that it worked for them. But,it's a 50-50 game.
Waka pass and leave everyone to his/her choice.

Hello fellow German prospective students!

I've been following this thread for a while and I applaud you all for your palpable contributions. I can see booking of Appointment Date(AD) under category A&B pointing to First class, graduation year etcetera...

My question is what of BSc applicants without history of first class and the likes, what is the FATE of BSc applicants?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by MartOkoh1: 12:49pm On Feb 27, 2021
U could have left people to their choices since instead of putting pessimistic replies here to discourage them.

Abisoye2 since u are going for bachelor's u should book in cat A. Students going for bachelor's are to have German language proficiency which I believe u must have by now. So if u obtain ur German language proficiency from Goethe institution then book in Cat A?

Baba, the issue here isn't about the pessimistic replies...

The people arguing on both sides have seen examples of people that were bounced and people that were allowed...

They only shared what they've seen and what they know... It doesn't invalidate either side's argument...

The issue is about the use of vulgar words and statements...
It is very immature...
Arguments can be made without the use of "idiot, foolish people, etc"

Stop trying to defend what isn't right.

I don't even understand your own.
Who's giving pessimistic replies and discouraging people from making their choices?
Did you read my previous comments well?
Stop writing off point on where my comments are headed.
My stand is clear and i maintained it in my first and second comments.
This matter of leaving people with their choices, isn't it in tandem with what i told the guy you're supporting?
You should have addressed it to him and not me because he was the one i told to leave people with their choices.
Scroll and show me where i told people to do like this or like that.
The bone of contention here is that this guy you're supporting abuses and insults people when they disagree with the option he's given them.
Please, try to understand the context of an argument before jumping into it.
Kai!!!Nawaaaaa for some people ooo!!!

I have a friend studying that currently, he moved from our class over to Deggendorf, he was the best student in my class with a bachelors in electrical engineering from his home country. You need really good IT skills because the course is more focused on automation and be overall good in electrical engineering and modeling because you’re gonna be doing hands on projects, projects of which you’ll do by yourself or in teams.

Everything you’ll be doing is in the advanced stage, there’s no handholding in Bachelors so don’t expect that in masters.

Here is a link to the course overview

This 1. CLASS of a thing.. I'm thinking this should be candidates with German grade of 1.0, 1.1 .....to 1.9... Maybe I'm wrong, but we really have to verify from the German embassy, maybe calling them on phone or reaching them through email
Using TUM's conversion to the German 1.0-4.0 scale, 4.20 equates to 1.5 German scale which is a first-class minimum in Germany. 3.9/5 in the Nigerian scale qualifies for 1.9 German scale.
Not all 2.1's in the Nigerian grading qualifies for scale ranges between 1.0-1.9 in the German scale.

The above truth is what has been giving alot of 2.1's AD. For all those that keep stressing its just first-class, do note that "1." Was stated in the German site. Some 2.1 very much qualify.

People getting AD's on those points are just on a low smiling at the gullibility of emphasis on just first-class on Nigerian grading system.

If you have 2.1 with at least 4.0, please apply for CAT A as long as you graduated after 2018. I rest my case
