Since you fall under category A, I will advise you cancel and get yourself together before booking again, cause it easy to get a date if you fall under that category

I don't think you can go on another date. Just call the embassy ASAP. Perhaps they can reschedule. Ensure you tell them you are a CAT A applicant.

How did it take you 6 months to get an Ad for Cat A?
Cat A applicants typically get AD within weeks

Please if you have sufficient money for your studies, block your account.

This time last year.

€1 = N438 (June 7 2020)
N4,483,368

now it is

€1 = N602 (June 7 2021)
N6,219,864

In a year, we have had to have an additional N1,736,496 to the blocked account.

Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute

I think I know you as Eke47 that year? Are you now in Deutschland? This is quite terrible. We left when it was just 213 or so. People should really apologise to Goodluck Jonathan! Buhari has done a lot of damage to that country.

I couldn't have said it any better.

I'm studying Mechatronics Engineering in Germany and I tell you, no be joke.
The academics is one part, keeping up with emails and messages is another. There's deadlines too; forms to fill, registrations to make, important decisions to make.

It's important we understand what it takes before we just jump all in

Don't forget the challenge of learning the language too. This A2 wey I reach, no be joke.

I hope and pray we get AD's soon. Though the are those that want to "japa", majority are actually students trying to make their dreams a reality.

God help us
OdogwuEkeke:

To be honest Bruv!!!!!

A lot of people here are not ready to be students and I don't think they know what they are up against pursuing a master's in Germany. The best graduating for my faculty called me when he entered Europe, baba says they did not teach us anything lol.
I am talking about a first-class graduate from FUTA.

Germany Masters can be likened to military training. If you fail a course thrice na Bye Bye ooh. If you are not smart you might be on a plane back to Naija. Again, we are not ready for this discussion yet anyway.

Some questions I see dey weak me sometimes but I go just do as if the thing no dey cringe me.

-What is the link to the German embassy?
-Where is the German embassy in Lagos located?
-How do I apply to this University?
-Where can I get a prepaid carrier envelope?
-What is the link for booking a student visa interview?
- What is the contact detail of the embassy in Lagos?

Ah ah, how are you ready for a master's program if you cannot do simple research online? I keep saying it, the thread is loading with a wealth of knowledge but still should be a guide to the research you have done personally. Read but mba! when they now see something that they have not seen before being posted by someone else they would say you are supporting the embassy or you are a staff.

You guys should go to the other German thread and ask they survive academically.

I pray in the quest to run away by all means some of you don't fall into the wrong hands.

@MrAAA2 thanks for all you do.

Go back and read the page from start then you will be ready otherwise I believe you're a Japaite and not a student. You made a request, no course, or you want to study the whole undergraduate course in Germany?

To be honest, u need to do some research urself. This is like an open question but also one that only u can answer. 'Less racism from your experience' can be answered but u need to bring up a school first for that answer to be given. Hope u get? Just do some searching✌

Hi friends, Good morning.

I got admitted for MSc Pharmaceutical and industrial biotechnology at Martin Luther University, Halle.
Based on the recent trend, I fall under category B.

My question is this, if you have a resident permit from another African country like Liberia, which fulfills the 6 months period, can one be sure of getting a visa?

Secondly, what is the time period for category B appointment in Ghana?

Thanks friends

TBH, the chances are low. I applied to the German embassy for a conference in Berlin in 2017. It was fully sponsored and I met all their requirements, but they still rejected me saying I don't have enough funds and they are not certain I will return. I had to write a remonstration letter afterwards, explaining that it was fully sponsored and for the coming back part, I had another conference the following month in Swiss was already paid for, so I attached the invitation and bookings and explained that I understand that my behaviour on this trip will affect the next. In short sha, with a little bit of fasting and prayer, it was eventually granted. Keep in mind, this was the era when you could select appointment date on a calendar on their website i.e before all this madness, so you can imagine what it will be like now. If you've been to EU before, it might be easier, but if you're a first-time traveller, I don't mean to discourage you but prepare your mind for the worst-case scenario, so that you won't be heartbroken. It was also my first time back then, but I realised subsequent Schengen visas became easier afterwards.

You're welcome bro. An alternative is to apply to another Schengen country and enter Germany for your conference from there.

Good evening. I'm currently a 300 level student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, studying computer science. I am an app developer by specialisation.

I'm currently considering a country to japa to, through the easiest way which is study route. I don't mind doing my masters.

How affordable is tuition there and could I be pointed in the right direction?

Like approximate total cost of everything, na patch patch I wan patch so start. Thanks.

Go to UK visa website. You can apply through one of their partner website. Tls contact. You need to have at least 1 semester result. Then apply for their 6 months tourist visa. Make sure you book a hotel and your to and fro flight as back up and attach them as proof during your interview .

No vex boss. I'll take my time to go through the beginning of the thread. Ī believe Germany is the best option as it's a budding tech space.

I've been making research and will continue to. I just want to start early and alright, in as much as I am going for an English MSc program, I'll try to take up German language and be good at it to an extent.

Thanks to everyone helping out here
