Jaeima is right, they do. Just try as much as possible not to laminate your original documents. That's because they're need to "feel" the seal for documents that have such. There are embassies that request that you remove the lamination. In this case, it most times leads to tear

@hannania, i laminated my original waec and bsc, a long time ago, even before i thought of Germany

Thank you

Well for category A, you upload certain documents and fill forms that’ll place you on the waiting list to submit your application for visa. I think once you’re notified to proceed with your application, you can then upload the remaining documents which after examination, they’ll give you an appointment date or tell you documents that are missing. This is what I got from the consular portal…

Please, how are northerners supposed to apply now? I'm confused because when I go to the digital portal, my state is attached to Abuja and there's no online application option for states under Abuja. Also, the portal for appointments in Abuja clearly states "NO VISA", so if the intention is to get a visa, we can't apply there. I've tried to reach the Abuja office with no luck.

Hi Hannania, pls I have a question.

Context: The school I am applied to doesn't require language certificates for the master's program I applied to. I have the admission already but seeing the required documents for the Embassy I need to show a language proficiency certificate. The language of study is English.

Do I have to write a proficiency exam again?
Nope, unless it's written on the admission letter. Else, you're good

Starting from now, all new applications are done via the consular service portal, both cat A and B. In the online application, there is the category for Category A (Study – Specific qualifications) and Category B (Application (Language Course) or
Study Regular). That's why there isn't Category A or B on the appointment website anymore.

Now they said we will be bringing BECE along with Senior school leaving certificate… are we to add BECE in our cv ?

This is what they say, but while registering, there aren't such distinctions
