There’s oral and written interview. Unlike before that it was just oral.

Interesting. Did you do the written interview? If yes, what were the questions you were asked?

I want to thank everybody in this group for both informations that were passed here and words of motivation. I got my visa and I am so happy.
The process was a hard one but it ended well. So I am here to encourage others to keep going and to also detail my experience as somebody can learn a thing or two from it.
My first interview was scheduled for March 18th but by then I didn’t have block account confirmation. I sent an email to reschedule but I got no response. So on the interview date, I went there with the bank deposit slip and I was told I couldn’t be interviewed. I explained to them that I had already sent an email to reschedule but I got no reply. I was told to wait for a minute. The lady finally came back and told me that they just saw my email and I am lucky I did sent the email I will be rescheduled. I was rescheduled for may 8th and by then I had my block account confirmation.
During the interview I was asked repeatedly what course I was applying for and why was I choosing Germany over an English speaking country. Then I was giving 5 economics questions and 5 mathematics questions to answer and that was it. I was asked when I intend to travel as well. I was called on the 14TH if I wanted to come pick up myself or if they should use my courier envelope. I decided to go pick up on the 15th and my visa was granted. Apart from Paulinus making things difficult, it was an easy process

Awesome! Please what type of math question were you given?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by VicUkegbu(m): 8:40am On Apr 20
Aura4aura:

1. What’s opportunity cost, give an example
2. Define market equilibrium
3. What’s demand and quantity demanded
4. List 3 factors of production

1. Whatz 27+23
.2. If a man drives 50km/hr how many kms will he drive in 2.5 hours
3. If I have 62 apples and I give out 34, how many do I have left.
This is all I can remember

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good afternoon everyone
My motivation letter is about one and a half pages
Is it ok or should it just be a page?

Please, what's the need for a letter of motivation again?
Are you taking it hardcopy to the visa interview?

Happy Easter everyone 🙂

I am preparing for study visa interview and I have a conflicting information regarding documents to take while going.

Below are two images;
The first one is from the consular portal before booking the appointment.
The second is from the email confirmation after booking the appointment.

1. I would like to know which instruction to follow.

2. I would also like to know how to get a prepaid courier service envelope (DHL) in lagos. Do I buy and take it there or can I buy it there?

3. Lastly, can I do a cash transfer for the visa processing fee or do I pay with cash there?

Thanks alot. I expect your insightful feedbacks.

As for The prepaid envelop you can buy and take it there.
That’s the only answer I can give to your questions
I don’t know about the other ones

1. Kindly go to the embassy with your original document as well as photocopy of each of your documents as outlined.

2. Walk into any DHL office closest to you and request for the envelop. It will be given to you for a fee.

3. Both cash and card transfer is acceptable. You can go with any you so desire but both are okay the officer might be reluctant to count cash sometimes.

Wishing you all the very best.

Contact the university where you did your undergraduate degree for you proof of language proficiency. It’s only from them you can get it
Also for the health insurance you can get it from Dr. Walter or any other health insurance company in Germany.
