So, I had an issue with my account and I contacted my hosting company to get assistance. But the response I got from them is so weird and I cant even believe what I read. Kindly see the attached screenshot of the chat ( I dont know what I said that was abusive in my chat) but the mail I got from them saying I abused an agent. Even if I did (though, I didnt), does that mean they wont provide me support and what of the saying "Customer is always right".... I'm just surprised...

oh now i see it, whats abusive about asking why ur ip was blacklisted, this is why I stop using localhost servers they are very unreliable |

Your IP is not blacklisted. They actually disabled sending emails on their servers. One person I worked for recently used QServer and there was issue sending mails, when I run a check, I discovered the mail function was disabled. Also, they don't allow people to change PHP version and currently the PHP version they use is old (<5.3 if I remember correctly). My advice to anyone who wants to host their website online is to avoid QServers. |

You don't have to lie to get yourself noticed.... They asked you to open a support ticket via chat and you only posted their response to the ticket you opened leaving out your own ticket comments, which got support withdrawn from your client account. I've been with qservers for a long time and they offer very good support, If you violated their tos then that is your own issue to resolve with them. |

jonnyboy4u:Let's pretend for a minute that he insulted them, does that warrant withdrawing support from him?? Perhaps I doubt you understand what SUPPORT is! It is your right, except stated otherwise. My hosting company had an issue at their data center mid last year on a Sunday and it wasn't resolved until evening. I sent them a long stinker as I was frustrated and angry. They responded, apologized and hinted the cause of the downtime and notified that the issue has been resolved at their data center. It didn't stop us from becoming the best of friends. There are things they do for me that are way beyond customer level. They did something recently that was way out of any regular hosting company's rule. I sent a mail and they were patient enough for me to come around. A service company mails a client that support has been withdrawn for insulting or abusing an agent and you think that is normal? We so need orientation in this country. Sawyer and the team, THANK YOU GUYS for being amazing! |

He should resolve it with them. He's in the issue due to violating their tos, another polite response to them should resolve the issue. I don't think qservers have their tos carved in stone. |

jonnyboy4u:Your mindset scares me. First off, he is a client and not a beggar and he is entitled to SUPPORT just as every other Qservers client out there. What TOS did he violate that you've been hammering on? Does been rude to an agent demand, warrant or suggest being blacklisted and denied his basic rights as enshrined in their TOU or TOS? Why should he cower over their inability to bring their head down? I have never had any dealings with Qservers and I never will in this life or the next but asking a client to be polite towards a company offering services he paid for before he can get SUPPORT is tantamount to saying he should grovel and beg for what is due him by default. |

Sanchez01: Some of our local hosts are terrible, can't sacrifice my peace of mind on the altar of patriotism, I just they jejely use where my heart they at rest. Once had an issue with one some years back, they couldn't rectify, response was slow, asin, I just japa. |

Efewestern:LMAO Most, not SOME, Oniovo. They are non-challant and highly entitled even when they ought to serve. My host company is a Nigerian company and I have been with them for three years now. I can count my down times, including when I migrated to a reseller plan to diversify. Truth be told, I don't defend anything Nigerian much but I sometimes wonder if my host provider doesn't have traits of the typical Nigeria host providers. 1 Like 1 Share |

Sanchez01: This won't be the first time you will be praising your host, good to hear a Nigerian web hosting coming performing well, I might as well give them a try, do they have data centers close by? You see some other host, during their first year, they will be nice, give them some time, you see them acting funny, pray you don't encounter some technical issues, you'd meet clueless staffs. Oh my... |

Efewestern:I won't stop praising them o. They have been incredible. The idea was basically to use them grow my websites and then migrate when demand is high but I fell in love and couldn't leave. Businesses spiraled upward with them than I imagined and they handle them just perfectly. About their data centers... I think so but I have never been concerned to ask or find out. You can also ask this as a presale question. I'm sure they'll respond to you. My love affair is three years and counting... 1 Like |
