These people in masquerade costumes who go about defaming spirits of the ancestors( as we believe that they are) thinking that the are catching up with time( modernity), should be aware that that they are pushing one of the remaining aspects of african culture that is struggling to survive in the world of european and american domination into extinction.

Not saying that these people shouldn't have fun in their lives, but they shouldn't ignorantly make others to believe that their (masqueraders) personal lives is the lives of the ancestral spirits.

The other day, my sister was telling me that she saw a masquerade drinking Pap with Akara.
