Why do we officially call the Police of Nigeria "Nigeria Police" while their Airforce counterpart is called " Nigerian Airforce".

Maybe because a larger percentage of the Nigeria police are illiterates I mean we see them everyday displaying it right. On a more serious note I think it's only the federal government that can answer this.

Ok, let me tell you the difference, Nigeria as a country is useless but Nigerians are useful, so Ngeria Police Force stands for Useless Police Force, while Nigerian Air Force stands for Useful Air Force, but understand that not all Nigerians are useful like all those useless politicians stands for the bad eggs among the Nigerian Air Force. So that is their difference

Instead we have Nigerian Airforce.

Nigeria Police (new name)

Not so sure, but my guess think only "Nigeria" is used when there is a word after the MDA's name.

Before the recent name change, olopa used to be referred to as Nigeria Police Force. Nigeria Police is probably a mistake during rebranding. Hence the disparity.
