Nollywood actor task youths on Career Choices at 'Save the Youths' Conference as Hon. Frank Archibong Bags an Award

Akwa Ibom’s finest actor in Nollywood, Moses Armstrong was a surprise guess at this years edition of ‘Save the Youths’ Conference which held at the prestigious ‘Villa Marina Hotel’ Banquet Hall.

The event started few minutes behind schedule with its usual rewards system of free airtimes and Mission statement taken by host of the event and some musical performances by talented artists.

Then the First Charge by Akwa Ibom’s finest Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong came;
“Some very good career come by accident, all you need do is sit on it, stay focused and conquer all challenges. And when you eventually get to the top, raise people, so incase you fall, there will be somebody to hold you up so that you wont crash land, then you can rise again”.

After that, the first symposium for the day on the topic;
The Role of Youths in Politics and Economic Development and the guest on the hot-seat were: -
1. Arc. Ezekiel Nyaetok (Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Candidate)
2. Hon. Emmanuel Mbong (PDP Chapter chairman in Eket)
3. Mr Ndueso Essien (SA to Akwa Ibom Governor on Research and Documentation)

There were serious deliberations ad arguments as the topic got really tensed.
High point of the symposium came when the Architect himself supported a youth with some good amount of money.

The event also witnessed an Essay Writing Competition among Secondary School students organized by Teenscript.

The winners made home with lovely prices.

The second symposium was on The Role of Youths in Peace/Conflict Management and the guest were: -
1. Chief Usoro I. Usoro (Chief Protocol to Akwa Ibom Governor)
2. Peace Etop (Special Ass. To Senator Akon Eyakenyi)
3. Mr Canice Ezirim (General Manager, Villa Marina Hotel)


Third symposium was on; Positive Communication, a cure to Cultism, Drug Abuse, HIV & Aids was taken by;
1. Prince Akan Etteudo (Chief Protocal to Senator Akon Eyakenyi)
2. DSP Felix Ekpoudom

The event came to a climax with the Presentation of various awards to deserving winners.

2. Most Outstanding Youth (MOY) (Female) - Miss Utibe Akwa
3. Most Outstanding Student (MOS)(Male) - Daniel Eniang

Indeed, Save the Youths Conference 2020 was a huge blessing.
