Introduction My interest in learning about cancer has changed everything I do these days. It has changed my lifestyle (I am more conscious of what I eat and drink, and exercising is part of my daily routine). It has changed my goals and areas of research focus in life. My style is to find out the main root cause of whatever I want to study. While I was learning how to grow vegetable, I researched deeply all diseases. There are just too many materials one needs to study to get adequate understanding of a subject. And thank God that I am a very fast reader who can cover average of 350 pages in 13 hours. I trained myself to not read every word, but to pick phrases and sentences. This strategy has really helped me. I will write about it soon so anyone who wants to cover many grounds can start training himself too. I dread cancer. It killed someone I loved so much and since then, I have not stopped reading about it. I made a good decision by not becoming a doctor. Lol Well, most normal or ordinary doctors are not smart from my observation because they just follow procedures. And their job is repetition. Lol. However, surgeons and specialised doctors are actually smart. But I "give it" to micro-biologists and other guys who work in the laboratory. They are "smartos". These are the guys who innovate and break grounds. They find cures to diseases. Ha! Infectious diseases doctors are smart too, and if you want "the best of the best", go for the guy who knows about infections and nutrition. Damn! That combo is powerful. Guys who work in the laboratory toss doctors here and there. These are the guys drug manufacturers run after. These guys move us to where they want to. Also, I "give it" to genetic engineers and researchers. Actually most genetic experts had bachelor degrees in science or medical related course. And more micro biologists dive into cellular researches for their doctorate degrees. I dread cancer. OMG! I do not pray it for my enemy. Personally, I know there is more to what we presently know about this disease, and I will share my thought here. I do not claim to be an expert in this subject. Oh no! Infact, the so called experts contradict themselves. And very soon, chemo will be banned. This is my prediction. That treatment is too harsh. It is actually chemo that kill patients faster. Next.....I will highlight what most oncologists now believe is the cause of cancer. And I think they are getting very close. Also, I managed to link this subject with spiritual matters. And then, it led me to the never ending Creation Vs Evolution debate which I will discuss in the religious section. I want to keep my discussion here to ONLY health. Follow me as we learn ways we can prevent cancer, and help those battling with it. There are some practices oncologists are beginning to accept which they turned deaf ears to in the past. I spoke with a specialist in this area recently, and she told me that she always confronts oncologists with many researches to prove her point so that her patients she referred to them can be allowed to add such treatment to chemo. Of course, there were initial experiments doctors are still relying on to discourage these practices.....hmmmm. One reason is because drugs companies are selfish, and the other reason is because these researchers are also humans. However, I "give it" to them. They are really trying. My approach is to make you see the two sides of the coin. And then decide which one you want to take. Lol. Right now, I cannot tell you authoritatively which way you should go because the truth is that no one knows. But adopting some strategies do not hurt. So, why not just try them? And many people who have beaten cancer testified to some of these practices. Those who had relapsed realised they stopped doing something(s) they did to actually beat it the first time. At times, it may be late. But not late to try or try again. One of the advantages of what I will share is that the cancer patient who adopt these strategies is likely to tolerate chemo more than others who do not practise them. Yeah! I have seen such patients. I precribed it for a friend's colleague after 2 rounds of chemo which knocked her down. And from the fourth round, the fellow started tolerating the treatment (chemo). Her doctors were shocked because they felt she would be knocked out finally at that stage, and they were getting ready for counter measures to make her try. But since she started tolerating it better, they left her with just chemo. And many more stories which I have read and heard. If you are reading my post for the first time, let me introduce myself. Im Pistotita. I am a farmer by profession. I am also a business strategist (though, i farm more these days). I quit agricultural field practice in October 2018. Presently, I spend more time reading and researching. And I will be travelling more this year by the grace of God. My approach is to discuss what I know in simple sentences without using medical jargons. 2 Likes |

Lmao. Wonders shall never end. A mentally unstable and psychologically sick dude is giving health counsel. The peal of hypocrisy. Dude who's famous for lunatic antics. Online is giving health counsel. Lol. Dude go to ya a first and get professional diagnosed and attended to first before you give fake health counsel. Hypocrite |

The Real Price for Human Advancements, a Curse or a Blessing? We are a smart specie among animals. Can I say we are the smartest? What I need to tell you is that all the technological advancements we have made are good. Yeahhh! However, there is a price to pay for each. As long as these as advancements distort our ecosystem, we are paying the price. And it seems the prices are the negative effects on our health. Yeah! Wireless communication is waoooo, the radiation from it is cancerous. Microwave oven makes life easy for us in the kitchen, but its radiation too is a challenge. Have you tried Dr. Dree's Beats? Damn! That headphone is super which brings out "micro" sounds which powerful sound systems cannot. No wonder Lady Gaga, J Zay, and some other super stars are teaming up with sound system manufacturers to produce cr.azy headphones. But guess what? The price to pay is high and early hearing loss rate. I asked myself about the most outstanding discovery I read about in 2019. I do not even know how to select because many outstanding innovations come out, but reluctantly chose Sir Peter Ratcliffe, of the University of Oxford and Francis Crick Institute; William Kaelin, of Harvard; and Gregg Semenza, of Johns Hopkins University who shared the 2019 medicine Nobel prize award. How our cells sense oxygen wins Nobel prize Oxygen is life. We all know and many researches have been carried out on oxygen but the recent 2019 noble price winner in medicine is something from another world. Lol. Yeah. Many researches have been working on the subject, but this caught the attention of the whole world. I am not here to argue if someone else had done similar stuff and they should have not won (there are always controversies every year because one person or one researcher somewhere thinks he is better or whatever) but just to show you the new focus in medicine. This is called a game changer. It will change the way we tackle cancer, diabetes, anaemia, and many other diseases. Oxygen levels vary in the body, particularly: 1. during exercise 2. at high altitude 3. after a wound disrupts the blood supply And when they drop, cells rapidly have to adapt their metabolism. Why is its importance? The oxygen-sensing ability of the body has a role in the immune system and the earliest stages of development inside the womb. If oxygen level is low, it produces more red blood cells mean the body is able to carry more oxygen and is why athletes train at altitude. This discovery has just paved a new way to treat anaemia. On the other hand, tumours may hijack this process to selfishly create new blood vessels and grow. Can you see this? Hahahaha. And it means a reverse may halt cancer cells. How was the discovery made? Watch the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iISXiUkOM8g Levels of hormone erythropoietin (EPO) were shown to rise as those of oxygen fell. And these guys noticed a cluster of proteins called hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) changed the behaviour of DNA, the genetic code was the cause. From their research: Case 1: When oxygen levels were normal, cells constantly produced HIF only for it to be destroyed by another protein, VHL. Case 2: When oxygen levels fell, VHL could no longer stick to HIF, leading to the build-up sufficient levels to change the behaviour of DNA . KEY here is the bolded phrase above. Cancer cells change overtime which we all know. Something inside start making them change and they turn bad. And then, they start growing in an alarming rate. So, how oxygen gets into your body, the quality (how pure or polluted) is a major determinant of how healthy we are. To read more, here are two links from nobel prize website. Press Release Scientific Background Stay tuned as I unravel this mystery. When you know the root cause of the suffering of your loved ones, you will be able to help them better. You will be bold to confront the doctors trying to help them, and insist they look at your own side of the story. Get the patient to understand your position, and insist your doctors research your position. Trust me, they will return to tell you that "okay...let's give it a trial". And it has worked many times. Of course, we used to tell these doctors that bad oxygen contributes to deadly diseases, but we could not explain it very well until these heroes assisted the whole world last year. I was extremely excited and it doubled my aggression towards doing what I do best. By the time you finish reading this series, you will be better equipped to prevent cancer, and also assist a cancer patient beat it. Yes, I believe cancer is beatable. 1 Like
