Hello, my laptop (just bought it) is consuming data heavily. I use internet from my phone. just 5 pages and 500mb is gone. Laptop is Window 10.

Any way out.
NB: Automatic update is disabled

It's the Windows 10, google it there are various solutions to this issue, but the best thing if you connect to the internet a lot with your laptop is just to roll back to Windows 8.1.

I guess your system updates all of the time, why don't you try googling how to stop automatic system update

Check the version of your win 10. If it's not the most recent, it will keep updating to get to most recent.

follow this step its very easy i posted it on your last post

you must be connected to the network b4 doing it every new network must be set because chsnge of network turns back to default

1.WindowsButton + R
2.services.msc will pop up open it
3.locate windows update double tap to open and disable it

Works for me

Download netlimiter app. You will see the apps consuming your data. You can block them by ticking the two buttons in front of them. All the best.

If you disable system updates on Windows10, it would enable itself after some time. System updates can't be disabled like windows7&8
