Buhari Interfere As Saudi Arabia Sentences Islamic Cleric To Death Over Alleged Drug Trafficking Saudi Arabia's judgement to sentence an Islamic cleric from Zamfara state to death over an alleged drug trafficking has captured the attention of Zamfara state Governor and President Muhammadu Buhari. According to the statement by Zailani Bappa, Media aide to Governor Matawalle, he said President Buhari has intervened to the judgement when he was alerted by Matawalle. Buhari directed the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN to handle the case in Saudi Arabia.
