You yourself said he takes them home since the babies can not consume them. So what do you want him to do? Keep it and let it waste? When there are hungry mouths at his own home It's the fact that he scams people that I don't like 3 Likes |

FuckBots: Thanks for your opinion. But remember, it was taken from unsuspecting donators thinking that they are motherless babies |

You did the right thing by asking those questions.... Your uncle stands a chance of being arrested if the motherless babies home he's running is not registered. He might have the mind to help, but he should do it legally. 4 Likes |

The questions you should ask: is your uncle feeding those hungry kids to their satisfaction before taking left overs home? Then he has not done anything wrong. Does these kids truly have parents who are still alive? If yes, does their parents agree that your uncle should take care of them in the orphanage? Then your uncle has not done anything wrong. |

@Op, I advise you ask the EFCC the question. They might as well be in a better position to answer than a Nairalander. Hope this helps |

There is no NGO in this world that gives 100% of the money donated to it to the poor. 1 Like |

Donald95:Supreme Court will settle the matter. If Supreme Court can settle it, no problem. But Supreme Court cannot settle it, the Amotekun will be invited. If Amotekun will be invited, two things are involved. It is either your uncle will be denied 2023 operational licence or the AGF will declare the motherless babies home illegal. If the AGF declares the motherless babies home illegal, no problem, but if your uncle is denied 2023 operational licence, two things are involved. 1 Like |

Sit him down, talk to him about it and make him feel how those poor little children will feel like if they don't get what they need. If he doesn't listen, report his matter to the police and make sure justice is served. |

Charleys: pls sir, stop writing rubbish online.... as much as NGOs would use "some" of the proceeds to pay their employees (they dont work for free), they certainly wont use the proceeds for their own PERSONAL NEEDS and to feed their own families/friends. whats next? NGOs will now use the money to buy themselves luxury car and mansions, abi?! |
Re: My Uncle Runs A Motherless Babies Home, But I Don't Like Its Operation by Charleys: 6:46pm On Jan 19, 2020 |
MrBrownJay1: You just answered for yourself. NGO'S are just a way to syphon money. I'm talking from experience. If you like you believe if you like you leave. 4 Likes |

Charleys: stick to the issue at hand and stop writing rubbish online... AGAIN, the Clinton foundation was never prosecuted for misappropriation of funds (aka they never used the money to buy themselves mansions, luxury car or to feed their own family.. like the OP's story). |

Erediauwa: I believe what the poster is worried about is the fact that the said uncle gets street children to come in and pose as orphans in a bid to get funding from donors. That is fraudulent, regardless of whether the institution is registered or not. 2 Likes |
Re: My Uncle Runs A Motherless Babies Home, But I Don't Like Its Operation by Nobody: 11:37pm On Jan 19, 2020 |
chival:Well, as much as I may want to agree with you, I think it is not in our jurisdiction to say that it is a fraudulent act since it's registered institution according to the Op. 2 Likes |

MrBrownJay1: So are you telling me that they sent all the money they had to Haiti? If they sent all the money they received to Haiti. Then Haiti would have been a well developed country by now. Secondly do you know that each first lady from Babangida to buhari have an NGO aka pet project where the husband ( Mr. President) puts in money into it. Will you call that a fraud too because it is. The presidency supports that NGO and the money is siphoned by the wife of the president. I've told you, you don't know how NGO'S are run. 2 Likes |

Charleys: A) again, just because a NGO receives money for a cause, does NOT mean all the money will be sent to that cause (like Haiti).... employees have to be paid, office rent must be paid etc B) who cares about all these useless African president wives 's NGO, are you really blind or you missed the part where i wrote......
