New Recruitment Agency Debuts, Set To Reduce Unemployment In Nigeria by ToriTori247: 10:46am On Jan 24, 2020 |
By James Ezema In a bid to reduce unemployment to the bearest minimum in the country, a recruitment firm, Shalom Recruitment Services(SRS) has been launched. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SRS, Ahmed Amoto, while speaking to newsmen in Abuja yesterday being Thursday, January 23, 2020 said many people are unemployed because they lack access to information about available job opportunities hence most job seekers do not even know what they want or where they could appropriately fit in. According to Amoto, many school leavers are unemployable, not because they are not vast in their chosen fields, but simply because of their inability to develop skills after graduation. He said applicants drop off CVs in companies or government institutions left, right and centre without proper guidance, adding that this scenario brought about the establishment of the recruitment agency. Amoto further noted that SRS is a leading recruitment agency that is poised to redefine excellence in the manner professional Human Resource (HR) services are provided to different companies in Nigeria. SRS works extensively with different companies and organisations in the following sectors: Finance, Oil and Gas, Maritime, ICT, NGO, Real Estate, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Education, Tourism and so on. "This gives us an excellent understanding of their systems, culture and specific requirements that allow us to source the most skilled, qualified and suitable staff available that match both the needs of our clients and the candidates," Amoto said On the part of clients, the CEO said the need for background checks on prospective employees has become paramount in view of rampant cases of staff kidnapping, murdering and even stealing from their bosses. "The employers want to know how to track employees in the event of any crimes committed. SRS comes in useful in this area because the firm parades retinue of Private Investigators and Recruitment Officers who go all out to check and document guarantors," he added. He maintained that with the entry of the agency into the market, clients and applicants in the country can heave a sigh of relief, noting that the agency is not only out to be the best recruitment firm in this country within the next five years but to build careers in a unique and excellent manner.
