DTSG to Support Federal Agencies in the State

The Delta State Government says it would continue to support Federal Agencies in the State in other for them to deliver effective service to the citizens of the state.

The Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie made this known when he accompanied the Presiding Judge of the Court of Appeal, Benin Division, Hon. Justice Helen Moronkeji to inspect the new Appeal Court complex in Asaba.

Mr. Ebie said the siting of Court of Appeal in Asaba would bring quick dispensation of Justice to the door steps of Deltans as they would no longer travel long distance to other states for their appeal

The SSG reiterated the state government’s commitment to developing all sectors of the state which he said was in line with the stronger Delta mantra of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, while calling on Deltans to continue to support the present administration

The Presiding Judge of the Court of Appeal Benin Division, Hon. Justice Helen Moronkeji commended the state Government for providing facilities for the take off of the Appeal Court in Asaba even as she stated that the siting of a Court of Appeal in the state capital was a big plus to the State.

In the same vein, the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie inspected facilities at the Headquarters of the 63 Brigade Nigeria Army, Asaba where he stated that the state government would continue to give support to security agencies in the state as they played a very vital role in maintaining the peace and security being currently enjoyed by Deltans.

Earlier, the Brigade Commander of the 63 Brigade Nigerian Army, Asaba Brigadier General I.M Jalo thanked the Delta State Government for their support and assured that the Nigerian Army would ensure that the peace and security being enjoyed in the state is sustained.

The SSG was accompanied on the inspection visit by the Commissioners for Housing, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Energy, Rt Hon. Basil Ganagana and lands and Survey, Mr. Churchill Amagada.
