According to religious teachings, the present world would one day come to an end. Do you really believe this, and what are your reasons?

The world will eventually come to an end especially when the sun becomes a red giant and swallow the earth. But if your type of end time is when Jewish man comes back with chariot of fire and angels blowing trumpet, Then i don't believe that

Yes, the sun will exhaust it's hydrogen fuel, become a red giant then engulf earth and other nearby planets.
