Kubernetes:
WhatsApp recently released the update for darkmode but they are yet to enable it.
I did a little digging and tweakings to see how it will work.

Hover to the Google drive cloud and download the apk.It will guide to install without losing any data.When done go to settings and enable it.

I use a Xiaomi redmi note 7 and I updated my WhatsApp this morning but I couldn't find the option under Chats and theme.

any suggestions?

When you update,go to settings by tapping the top Right vertical dots when in WhatsApp home screen.Under settings you should see chats,tap it and u will see themes.see attached

Wait for android 10 update which will be rolled out for redmi note 7 soon. That should solve it.

I use redmi note 7 as well so we wait..

Modified; update your WhatsApp to the current version and the feature will appear.
