Hubryde: The Technological Revolution Of 2020 - Ikorodu, Read This. by tidymaster(m): 9:26pm On Jan 27, 2020
The tech-world is evolving at an amazing rate; but whilst a variety of innovations like 5G networking and more sophisticated cloud-based computing have a global impact, the average Nigerian will really like that their immediate needs be taken care of. This is the tune which Hubryde is dancing to, because the stress of transportation—especially in Lagos—is just too much.
Hubryde is a transportation company which aims to revolutionize the transport industry in Africa, by using their app-based service (available on google play) to enable people reach their desired location in seamless comfort; but to do so, together.
The ‘together’ aspect is an important part of the brand identity, which sees the need not just to help people commute with deserving dignity, but also help the environment by reducing the amount of carbon emissions that come with people moving alone. What the revolutionaries behind this brand, such as Charles Matthews and Kunle Jaiyesimi, the COO and CEO respectively, are telling us is that moving comfortably is important, but moving comfortably TOGETHER is of greater importance for a sustainable environment.
With their fleet of cozy coaster buses, Hubryde is poised to restore the dignity of the Lagos working class by saving them from the highly deplorable danfo-culture they live with.
Beginning from Ikorodu, Hubryde is launching bus rides to popular Island bus stops such in Victoria Island, Lekki and Ajah from January 28th. The brand is looking forward to opening up more routes shortly after.
Aside from protecting lives and the environment, this is one transport innovation geared towards making a solid contribution to the economy. By adopting the cashless policy, the Central Bank of Nigeria has been trying to push as their primary payment option, Hubryde ensures that Nigerians can enjoy the convenience of going cashless without being punished with charges.
Ultimately, Hubryde is aimed as a creative, sustainable and environmentally-friendly way to alleviate the stress of transportation in growing cities like Lagos. And what has just begun in Lagos, is strategized to open arms wide to other cities in Africa in the nearest future.

P.S - Ikorodu to Eko Hotel Roundabout V.I, Lekki 1 Bus stop, and Jubilee Bridge Ajah start boarding from 5 am tomorrow (January 28th) for Just N400 (for the first five trips). Download the app from play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hubryde.customerapp.hubryde , register, fund your wallet and start requesting to be picked from your bus stop.
