We got this from a friend and we thought it is worth sharing with Nairalanders.
Being vigilant cannot be too over-emphasized.
Please read and digest.

"At home yesterday I got an sms and it read
"Honey am coming home",
it was strange cos my husband doesn't call me that.
He calls me by name..
I called him severally but he wasn't answering, after 5mins.
I got an sms again, it read "don't bother calling, it's noisy where I am...it was strange again..
I replied , where are you, and I got a response, "I will be home in 20mins...I suspected foul play....
I called on some nearby security men to be on the alert....
20mins later, I got an sms...Honey am close to the house Hurry up & open the door... hmmmmm....
I waited & there was a knock, I responded "who are you", I got no response,
I got an sms immediately which says "open the door am home",
I shouted, "give me a little time to dress up...."I peeped and it was a strange face with the phone...
I called the security men who were already on standby..
And immediately, One approached the guy at the door questioned him but his speech was shaky so he got hold of him and two other security men pounced on the one in the car!,
Alas when the boot of the car was opened there they found my husband who was almost passing out....
They brought him home to get the money he brought home from the office for a huge contract and some vital information.
Immediately I came out of the house and behold they were robbers who had already gotten info from him.
They received serious beating from the security men and were later handed over to the police.
I just thank God for the wisdom HE gave me.
Man, Woman, Old & young, be wise..
The days are evil.

Friends pls learn from this woman, be extra vigilant...... Share with others please...

The husband on a gun point would have called the wife and make their(robbers) entry into the house easier. Armed Robbers are not that foolish not to have ask the man to call the wife than texting her.

Maybe when you ask in a mature and sensible way, we will find out the time to reply you as we
replied others that ask in a sensible way in the past.
Guess your partner above replied you already?!

What makes you think you’re smarter than robbers
According to your fiction up there, those guys also kidnapped the husband. It takes more than supporting a failed government to kidnap someone. Kidnappers ain’t daft!

Actually, they are. Forget what you read in the news. The amount of failed attempts at kidnapping far outweigh the successful ones. The only set of kidnappers who are smart and sophisticated at it are those run by politicians and some big folks and that is because they are highly organized and well thought out.

It is why you see them kidnap someone, demand N15m but end up collecting N85k.

One needs to be extra vigilant these days. Thanks for this op

But the story is still a lie. Nobody brings home huge amount of money for a huge contract.

But then, one needs to be very careful.
