An investigative report by THISDAY newspaper published on Sunday has rattled the Saraki family and made them stay away from a scheduled meeting with the Kwara State government.

The report by THISDAY affirmed Saraki family does not own Asa Investments limited and that the real owners of Asa investments limited are deceased and the company is technically dead.

The Sarakis who have told the world that they own the land are now in quandary.

Information available from a reliable source close to the Saraki family have revealed to this medium that they're now contemplating on hiring two SANs to get them out of the log jam since there is no document to claim ownership.

As all their attempts to cast aspersion on the government well-intentioned movements have now proved unavailing, they have thrown themselves too deep down the pit of hullabaloos and now it is too late to back off and too deep to keep going down.

The family's next step is unknown and no official statement has been made as to why they shirked the meeting with the state government, but it seems the matter has become an albatross on Saraki family’s neck.

It therefore remains to be seen how they plan to break off the handcuff of embarrassment to which they have bound themselves.
