Update about the lekki phase 2 land , i was told after paying the 7.5m naira there is going to be another fee "Development fee" before i can start my project. Please my brother in a lay man's term what is the meaning of Development fee. thanks Yes oooo. Its simply means you have to pay a fee for developing your property. Its happens a lot to most of my clients in Lekki. |

i need advice.i am about to do pillers work and lintel work of oné 2 bedroom and oné 3 bedroom grand floor.we have laid about 3750 blocks to lintel.it has 36 pillers,all ensuit.these are the iron he said we needed,16mm rod 68 pieces.12mm rod 96 pieces.8mm rod 33 pieces.he asking for all the labour blocks work,casting,capentry and iron bender #400,000.is it too much?i need your advice.thanks. |

My candid advice as a professional in that field is to secure the service of a quantity surveyor to help you out with figure for your proposed building and also help you manage your project so that it won't exceed the targetted budget. Everything need will be spelt out in the bill of quantities and there will be an agree with the client and the contractor which is the builder. If a quantity surveyor to do that for you. Don't always relie on a site engineer cos they r after making gain while QS r after managing cost for the client |

Hi all, I'm a newbie, but I hope to learn fast. I plan to start a project of a single flat of 3-bedroom (toilet, dinning,bathroom). I just want to know if 3mil will do enough justice to building a single flat of 2 or 3 bedroom. City is Benin. I'm currently renting a single room self contain, & I do not enjoy paying my landlord more. Any advice would be appreciated. I just want to know if this is feasible. Note also: I'm not looking classy edifice, just a livable apartment. Thanks |
