I wanted to use my 6230i as a modem, so i installed a pc suite and a cable driver. What amazed me is that the cable connectn disappeared immediately after driver installation. Though the phone recognised a data cable presence but the computer and pc suite never saw it.

with a 6230i, tou can connect using 2 modes
as an external hard drive(for direct assess to the memory card) and as a phone.when you connect the "use phone as data storage?' message will appear. enable, and your mmc wil be assessed.reject and your phone will be assessed.when connecting as a phone, the hardware icon will not appear in your taskbar



also, i think you need a DKU 5 cable if you want to use your phone as a modem.a dku 2 is fine for data transfer, but not for communication

there is a new awesome version of pc suite.you can download it from nokia.
