We have the mandate of our Client to fill the following vacant positions. Our client is a key player in the Financial Sector with subsidiaries spread across Africa with Head office in Lagos. Successful candidates will be trained and work briefly in the Head office (Lagos) to demonstrate their ability to meet target before moving to the respective countries. 1.) Job Title: Managing Director Location: Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Liberia, South Africa Job type: Full-Time Salary: N5million to N6million (Gross) pa Educational Qualifications Minimum Educational Qualifications: • First degree or its equivalent Post Graduate Qualifications: • Master’s degree (MBA, MSc, MA. ML) is compulsory Professional Qualifications: • A related professional qualification is compulsory Previous Work Experience Requirements • Minimum of 15 years financial sector experience spanning credit analysis, retail banking, wholesale banking, investment banking, commercial and public sector banking Required Skills/Competencies • Knowledge of organization’s products and services • Basic Accounting Knowledge • Extensive knowledge of the organization • Knowledge of ICT • Knowledge in project management • Knowledge of law, conventions, customs and practices in the financial sector • Knowledge of Finance and Cost Management • Leadership / Supervisory Skills • Strategic Thinking • Coaching / counseling • Team building / conflict management • Organization & coordination 2.) Strong sense of commitment to compliance with all applicable directives and regulations Ability to generate accounting reports within the stipulated reports. Collaborative and organizational skills needed to obtain, analyze, and evaluate necessary accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Accessibility and willingness to act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and achievement of goals Excellent written skills including the ability to document processes and prepare reports. Eagerness to engage in continuous learning and skills development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards Group Executive - Auditor Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance •A related professional qualification such as CFA, CIS, ACCA, ACA, CFP, CFE, ACAMS, IT Certifications, etc. Minimum or 8 years working experience Significant work experience as an accountant.
