Its real GDP growth, estimated at 3.4 percent for 2019, is projected to accelerate to 3.9 percent in 2020 and to 4.1 percent in 2021. --- AFDB E. Africa’s contribution has shrunk, from more than 32% in 2016 to less than 20% in 2019, as has S. Africa’s, from 6% to 4%. W. Africa’s contribution has increased over the last few years from below 7% to more than 28 %, primarily as a result of Nigeria’s recovery from recession
