Oyo Government Approves New Minimum Wage.

#Oyostate Government has approved the payment of the minimum wage passed into law by the Federal Government.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun who chaired the State’s Minimum Wage Implementation Committee made it known today after a meeting between the organized labour and State Government’s delegation that the least paid worker in Oyo State will earn over Thirty Thousand naira (N30,000) monthly.

The implementation will commence immediately and arrears of January are expected to be paid alongside March Salary.
