International certifications come with quality upgrades.
The process of getting international certified will force innoson to upgrade.
That is what I expect govt to do.

Innoson does not need to be accepted in South Africa for it to be deemed usable.
They have their own interests to protect.

As long as it has the required minimum level of safety, it is the duty of Nigerians to use it and make it world class.

IMHO Innoson should focus on pickup trucks and buses. He will have a reasonable market in police,army trucks and mass transit buses. Govts will patronise him because he is a local manufacturer but he will NEVER get enough individuals to patronise his cars to make it viable.
