I've attended a similar wedding at Victoria Island

The groom was a white man and the bride a Nigerian.

They shared drinks and snacks after the wedding mass, after announcing that there would be no reception, but we were free to visit the couple at home. I took the snacks and went to my house jejely.

Very nice. Churches should rise and starts organizing "As your pocket reach wedding" Aypreach wedding " so far the couples have a reliable source of income. Some people are saving at all cost to have an elaborate wedding which isn't necessary and causing lots of people delayed weddings. The churches should rise in laying emphasis on the marriage rather than the wedding.
