Every Sunday, you pick your bible and attend church service. The main reason why you are attending church is to worship God and get request for his unlimited blessings.
However, unknown to some people who religiously attend Church, God is angry with them because of the things they do in Church.

As such they are waisting their time praying because God won't accept their prayers.

In line with this, we share some things that you do that is making God and Jesus angry. If you are doing it, please stop it.

Your dress to church is not decent

Although there is no particular dress code for Church, God has given us the intuition to know the difference between decent and indecent dressing. Women should try as much as possible not to expose their assets and avoid tight fitting dresses that show the curves. For men, don't wear slashed jeans or plait your hair to church.

You fiddling with your phone while pastor is preaching

The time you spend in church is for you to listen attentively without any distraction. However, some churchgoers are so addicted to their phones that they keep fiddling with it without listening to what pastor is saying. What is the essence of you attending church then?

You refuse to give no matter how small

No matter what, you should give money in Church no matter the amount. Like they always say, no amount is too small. Even 100 naira is enough. But every Sunday, you attend church and don't bother to give. You will continue to pray but God and Jesus will just transfer your blessing to another person.

Your phone rings in Church

Despite the fact that it is boldly written that switch off your phone or put it on silence, some stubborn churchgoer's phone still rings and go as far as picking the call in Church. It simply shows you don't have respect for God and Jesus. God help you let your phone ring in Church when God decides to bless and answer your prayers.

You don't praise God and Jesus

During praise and worship, you cannot open your mouth to praise God and Jesus, then you are not ready for His blessings. You feel too big to praise God but have the guts to ask God what you want. You will wait forever for God's blessing. Be humble and praise God.

I will add three more as led by the Spirit
1. Chewing gum in church... Stop it
2. Talking with friends or siblings while service or mass is going on
3. Coming late to church is an insult. Stop it
4. Leaving before the final blessing is given
5. Eating before service or mass.. Unless u have diabetes that ur sugar level is too low or children less than 5 years.. No eating till everything is over.

There is no dress code for church, if you are coming to a true church you can wear what you like but if you hear the true gospel even if it is just once, you will by yourself change your dressing. That is the Jesus I know. Pls let's be balanced in love.


Fiddling with phone is wrong but again, there are pastors you can not be in their presence and fiddle with your phone, for example Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, his messages are so interesting that you would not want to miss any moment. I am a chronic fiddler till I encountered him in the UK. Every fiddler has their pastor.

Not giving is terrible and you are right people should change but the current attack on tithes and pastors have hardened many from giving. God help us.


Phone ringing in church is disrespect and dishonor. It would not ring in front of a governor or CEO but since church has been disrespected by the society, anything is allowed. It is sad


The matter of Praise actually is because people are not well taught on why to praise or the value of gratitude, we live in an ungrateful generation. It's sad.
