If it means putting O'Shea there or even Park so be it. I would sooner do that than field a half fit & half form player, against one of d fittest and most in-form side in Europe this season, more so in a one-off final.

And if those option don't work, then I would change d formation and strategy, but I will not for sentiment sake sacrifice d team chances to win, for d feel good factor of playing a guy who clearly isn't ready, simply cos he missed out on other occasions.

I really hope Fletcher can prove how far he has come tomorrow so he can warrant a starting position. But if he can't, its better we start planning without him than trying push him too hard when he isn't ready.

No way on earth would SAF consider the fact that Fletcher is a fellow scot before deciding on his line-up. NEVER, EVER. Also it wasnt SAF that left him out of '09, he was suspended. In terms of who plays as the destroyer, i honestly dont know, but SAF is the best in the business and Im willing to accept whatever decision he makes if Fletcher plays or not. Im sure he would know best seeing his condition day in day out.

i will have a half-fit fletcher do the destroyer role than a fully-fit ryan giggs or gibson.
however, you might have a point with park playing in the middle in a 4-2-1-3 formation.

the cl-final is still one week away. this is about doing what is absolutely necessary to win a game in 90 mins. there's no replay or 2nd leg. do what is right, win the game and bring us the cup.

Men SAF better d boys to carry d scoreline go like this.
