Why Doesn't Wenger Field His Best Players? by CyberG: 12:34am On Dec 14, 2010
I am an Arsenal fan and I like the way they play their football. I believe most moderate Arsenal fans support them for this very reason: they are young and play impressive, breath-taking football that is really easy on the eyes! Today, they lost to ManU. . .a game they should not have lost. ManU did not play particularly great and most other average teams would have beaten this ManU team but this is a different debate.

Can someone tell me why AW did not field his best players? Is Van Persie still injured that he couldn't start? Why does he bring in Walcott with less than 15 minutes of regular time thereby reducing his chances of making an impact in the game? Why is Szczesny in goal in a very big match when he could have given him his trial in a match of less impact? Sometimes, AW decision's are really annoying! Why can't he field his best players first? Why go behind first only to then start chasing the game? Has anyone answers to some or all of these questions?
