I agree with the first speaker's view. We need to teach our history... especially the Slave Trade. Our ignorance of that history in particular is the main cause of friction/conflict/the barrier between us and African Americans and others forcefully shipped out of Africa and enslaved in far away lands. What happened to them after The Point of No Return right here in Badagry..... what happened to them out there.... the average Nigerian doesn't know. What happened to them before getting to The Point of No Return.... the average Nigerian doesn't know let alone the descendants of the slaves. We need to teach/discuss that part of our history.
