According to a user @JahmalUsen on twitter who claims to be a friend of a soldier in the Army explains this.

"A “repentant” Boko haram terrorist was recruited into the army by the government.

He got there and was posted to join the battalion fighting his Boko Haram brothers.

Guess what he did. He arranged for men of the Nigerian army to get ambushed and butchered. Problem dey.

He further explains how he gets this information

The media won’t tell you that. It was a conversation with an ex army officer that made me even know about the politics going on up north. You really don’t wanna know what these guys are doing"

Still don't understand the rationale for adding such people into the army.

Never have i seen a country whose Leaders is as confused as the ones we inherited from Electoral Malpractices.

Who knows if these guys was elected, they would've think outside the box.

Noted. The latter part though, I am sure you are referring to the selfish ones who have chosen to keep quiet when they should voice out. I can only hope for a better Nigeria but let's see what the outcome of the budding referendum will be.
