I abhor this hypocrisy. sad

Because Nigeria is a very useless country with most of her citizens not smart, and they are sentimental. The 5 judges voted and majority carried the vote, yet they make it seem like one judge decided Tue entire case.

Nigeria is a true reflection of her citizens.

The Supreme court has spoken, which should be final, as it is all over the world.

It all depends on who the indigenes of Bayelsa want and not what the Hypocrites that have never stepped their feet on Bayelsa state are shouting about.

For those of us that are not card carrying members of any political party, but only vote for good men and women that we believe can move their immediate environment forward (same reason all of us @ voted for our darling Daddy in the presidential election and voted for another candidate in another party in our state of residence, no apologies ro Sanwo-Olu!)

It is sad that the days intellectuals (from opposing and different political affiliations) discuss politics on the political threads on Nairaland is gone and now it has gone to kids, hypocrites and dirty agberos that curse and abuse their mothers and fathers with no reasonable and sensible posts to contribute)

Lastly......

It is a always good and refreshing to see that we have a President who does not intervene in the rule of law.

Elections In Nigeria now,
There is no need to fear.
Why? Because the will of Nigerians will not be subverted. Never! A President once told us in this country that the coming polls would be do or die.
Not with President Buhari. Fair is fair. No foul play. Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa, Oyo State and Anambra states.
At the last Council of States meeting, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly.

APC has won gubernatorial positions under Buhari in Kogi, Ondo and Edo states. The victories were fair and square. The party lost in Bayelsa, Oyo, Anambra etc.
This President would never manipulate victory for anyone, not even his own party. And you ask us not to trust him?
We will, and no mistake.

God bless our darling Daddy President Muhammadu Buhari.
God bless Nigeria.

Lol cheesy
Just 3 mins ago sir!
All of us @ love you too.....it's Valentine's Day.
Let's share the love around!
Stay blessed Chairman!

When I told you that you are clever by half, I meant every bit of it, you are simply a definition of evil, you have sold your conscience just for a spoon of porridge.

You made mention of a President that said election is a do or die affair, good we all condemned it.

You forgot to mention also the one that said his re-election is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, and he religiously kept to that word, at least he should be recognised and honoured for that.

Lastly and most importantly, you conspicuously omitted the devil that said "DOGS AND BABOON WILL SOAK IN BLOOD" which resulted to loss of thoussnds of lives, his followers massacred people in the North, even corps members, and till date he showed no sign of remorse or sympathy to that.

All of you are a pure definition of evil. Little wonder ever since the inception of this administration, evil has multiplied in Nigeria.

You are evil for supporting evil.

The next level movement for David Lyon has pushed on Facebook demand for Justice to prevail.

'We need our governor, (David Lyon) he must be sworn in Today'.

The streets is already into panic as everyone is so choked on the recent judgment giving by supreme court nullifying David Lyon and declaring Diri the winner of November governorship elections.

Some are claiming it is unprofessional for the supreme court to have made such judgement on the last minute.

We just hope the day goes well in Bayelsa State, as boys don already dey vex.

Nothing will happen, let him go and sit down

Nigerians are just hopeless.
Supreme Court cases are decided by 5 judges, majority carries the vote.
That Justice Mary Odili read the lead judgement doesnt mean she's the one that removed the governor-elect.
But in Hope Uzodinma and Ihedioha Tanko that lead in the judgement was a Charia judge working for the APC, look at the mirror and tell me what you see, the person you see is a big hypocrite.

We all know what happened in Edo.

He thinks we're kids. Obaseki "won" by 50k votes they claimed. The rigging was herculean.

That is why it pains the rigging machine led by Oshiomhole so much that Obaseki is not their puddle.
After their monumental rigging effort.

Oshiomhole got his first term in office through a court judgement.

Despised.but how come they are ruling edo and won bayelsa? Listen, majority of bayelsans voted Lyon not pdp
Majority of Bayelsans voted Lyon to spit on Dickson for his arrogance and his owing/ slashing of workers wages... If Timi Alaibe had won the PDP primaries, he would have been voted in as the governor elect.. Majority of Bayelsans hated APC.

Apc and lyon should have protested and have her removed as a member of the panel, we all know she is a pdp chieftains wife, wasn't that the same reason Justice bukalchuwa was excused from presiding over presidential election tribunal?

WI Ryan don't know why party apologists will vent their anger towards a panel led by justice Mary Odili when APC party heirachy got it all wrong when they imposed a fraudulent person on the the people. Believe me those party Big wigs knew abnitio what the young man did but in their desire to improve the educational qualification of the joint ticket considering that Lyon had no degree certificate they allowed the whole process to go unchecked. That decision was the biggest blunder in Nigeria's democratic years. All these anger should be vented on the screening committee chairman who in conivance with the National Party chairman and state leader of the party brought in some one with K-leg. Fortunately, the Supreme Court has corrected the K-leg, I see this judgement as landmark simply because I am an advocate of due process and due diligence. Parties henceforth will do the needful in terms of screenshots of candidates as well as other agents of governments doing the same. We can't allow this shame to continue in Ngeria.....Kemi Adeosun now Lyon and co

I have read and had witnessed that when any time a Court' judgement should favour the PDP, her party members and the supporters will hail the declaration. When anytime a judgement should favour the APC, the PDP members would, usually blame the APC for interference and manipulation of such a judgement. I had expected that the INEC who has been saddled with the responsibility of conducting verifiable and good elections would not be questioned for their role. Example is the Zamfara saga. The PDP accepted the declaration of the Supreme Court.

The Imo State declaration of the Supreme Court remained unacceptable to the PDP but the one for Bayelsa State would be greeted with ovation. The Imo State matter was taken to Trump of the USA for his instructions to Nigeria that the Judges' decision should be reversed.

The Supreme Court's declaration on the Local Government Chairmen reinstatement was a good one in Ekiti State but in Oyo State wherein the Supreme Court told the PDP that the Governor lacks the power to sack the Chairmen is still been contested by the PDP.

I believe that to some extent, people should have confidence in the determination of the Supreme Court Judges, perceived/interpreted collectively or individually as either bad or good.

This is not a matter of votes because David Lyon won rather a justice for criminal conspiracy by his joint winner

Apc crossed the red line when they cancelled the Mbaise Man's mandate using corrupt judges and now
a daughter of Mbaise has paid them back with their own coin. You can not toy with Mbaise man and get away
with it.The next is that fake priest in Enugu..

Justice Mary Odili is a partisan PDP politician being the wife of former River state PDP governor, Odili;she was planted in the Supreme court since PDP era for purpose of manipulating judgements on election in favour of PDP

This is a zoo, I'm not disappointed at all. It just shows that there's no need for voting and election, since the voting/rigging can be upturned at the court, meaning the people's choice can be overturned at the supreme court.

On this particular case, the verdict is not fair, the people voted for the person of the governor, why not disqualify the deputy and leave the governor. But this is Nigeria, anything can happen anyhow..

Also may the souls of Igwe and Lolo Nnamdi Kanu, and all the faithfully departed by the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
