Industrialists who invested in the nation’s ports logistic value chain with the establishments of bonded terminals have expressed anger and frustrations about alleged official neglect of their facilities by the Nigerian Ports Authority and the Nigeria Customs Service, among others.

Speaking on the issue, Executive Chairman of Fano Shipping Agencies Limited, Eze Amb.Damian Emeka Obianigwe expressed serious reservation about the lack of commitment by successive administrations to grow the national economy, lamenting government’s failure and irresponsible character to honour investment agreements.

Amb. Obianigwe said the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, is mostly to blame for the collapsed Lagos ports roads and the gridlock it engendered, for failing to implement a working template to with bonded terminals to achieve a seamless cargo distribution and evacuation system.
