Authorities and health workers are trying to halt the spread of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak in China, travel restrictions and quarantine measures have left many streets, parks, and shopping centers essentially deserted in cities across China.

More than 20,500 cases have been reported so far in mainland China, and the World Health Organization recently declared a global public health emergency.

Emergency hospitals have been constructed and have started taking in patients in Wuhan, and other public buildings are also being converted into temporary hospitals with thousands of beds set up for people with mild symptoms.

Below, recent scenes from Wuhan, Shanghai, Beijing, and other virus-affected areas.

Security alhaji, despite all the controversies following the outbreak of the covid-19 china has done a magnificent job in controlling this menacing virus, I don't think it's every country that can take this hard measures of restricting and and quarantining everybody in this short measure of time.

Say what you want about the one party system but when it comes to getting the job done without all the political bulls of one party trying to blame the other then this is the way to go.

Food for thought, will the Chinese political system be effective in Nigeria or do you think it's a very bad idea

This is food for Hollywood.

As usual, in the movie, they will portray one american as the sole hero who saved the world from the contagion.

Man, China has mad infrastructures, to think they were once very poor as a nation. I hope no one brings the virus here, we don't have anything here to manage it, we can't build hospitals in ten days, heck we can't build it in a year, let alone set up centres for emergency treatment like China has done.

Technology can never be perfect. If it was, China should have been cured of this virus.

This has got me thinking, indeed it would not take God more than a second 2 destroy d world.

Fear God!!!!!!!

May God heal the land of China. Chinese are a set of people I have reservation for due to their heartless way of life but at this moment, I feel for them and pray for their healings.
I sense biological war here. I don't trust that man that recently escaped impeachment.
