Ondo State Government Lied here!!! I am living in ORE and The Town is not as neat as it was seeing in the picture and the bridge gan self still under construction.. Ore need huge development from Ondo State Government despite the Millions of naira the Strategic Town is remitting to Ondo Government.
Ore needed Good Road because all Ore township roads are not motorable.. Poor Road Network and Urbanization..
Ore needed new Government Hospital, because Ore General Hospital which is available for use has completely turned to Mortuary grin grin
Ore needed Government Schools
Ore needed Adequate Electric unterrupted Power Supply among other things.

That place looks like kitty litter. Why worry about a flyover in a dump lacking of an actual ligament road network? All I see is a pile of shacks with dirt trails webbing all around them. This project is a waste; focus on actually building neighborhood roads before expensive flyovers.

Nigerians celebrating mediocrity.
So Buhari would leave Abuja and head to Ondo to commission a traffic interchange.
Little wonder Nigerian leaders are labeled as clowns, so laughable.

And there's a law that says the president can not visit any state in Nigeria to commission anything?

Mediocre post.

Hatred and bad bele in overdrive..

Ore has a flyover before Akure. I cant believe it. However it's a necessity

Which part of Akure do you feel is supposed to have a flyover?

Akoko needs a flyover more in my opinion.

Although, God should empower our hard working leaders more, amen. Ee jere loruko Jesu.

now this is something worth celebrating.. not the above ground tunnel decorated with celebration light some wer celebrating this morning... it's just stupid
If we get our priorities straight we would realize nothing in this Nigeria is worth celebrating. These are basic amenities they should provide, so asking the president to come and commission a road, that has been in existence before we were born and only because he put cement and rocks over the road. It is shameful. No be one country build 13 story hospital in 5 days? How many people did they call to commission it?
I think we need to be re-colonized probably by Japan or even India.

Good to know you have travelled out and this is the best you could come up with.
Akure that has no business whatsoever with congested traffic deserves a fly over but Ore that has the set of busiest roads in the whole of Ondo state doesn't. Mind you, I'm based in Akure and your exposure is quite laughable.

First ask yourself what a flyover is for. If you can answer that, you will understand why there is no city or town or village that does not need a flyover.

Where in Akoko is supposed to have a fly over? Akoko doesn't even a quarter of the streams of traffic Akure is exposed to let alone Ore.
Akoko needs good road networks not fly over, there is no busy road nor multi connected roads in the whole of Akoko.

You have comprehension problem sort of, did you see where the OP reported that the flyover is still under construction? It was a normal supervision, it hasn't be completed nor commissioned yet. Wait till then to pour out your bile.

Stop embarrassing yourself, perhaps you think flyover is same thing as a pedestrian bridge. How could you build a flyover where there is no multi connected busy roads cutting across each other? Fayose once built a fly over in Ekiti state and everyone knows it was a mere waste of resources. The site where the fly over was constructed has no history of congested traffic nor any improper traffic flux and conveyance.
You don't just build flyover where it isn't needed, stop embarrassing your generation.

Why are you taking the comments personally? Is your name Oré or is your father the local govt chairman of Orè.
I am not taking anything personally, I am only writing senses into heads of imps who have no knowledge of Ore nor the cities in Ondo state but will rush down here to make silly comments because it's Nairaland and they need to post something after booking a space.

Have u been to Chicago?! Do people from Chicago insult other Americans or talk down on others who try to seek a practical solution for the problems facing them..

Is the American govt just standing by while death goes round

Is it political or religious killings?!

There is conspiracy of silence and conspiracy of insults especially against Igbo's in Nigeria

That of silence has turned back to affect most Nigerians.. Because as at early 2000 when Boko started we knew how it started from Bornu state
Adamawa and Yobe state..

We know the story now.. The silence of Nigerians against the igbos is what made Boko haram greater..

Stop insulting the igbos please.. You can never be like them u can only envy
