No doubt that Yorubas are blessed with Education and that's why they don't have problem cohabiting with other tribes.

Education gives you a natural sense of tolerance either by tribe or religion.

That being said, I'd like to know the contribution and the career success of graduates of that school.

Men, if na that one, they are doing so well relatively

pay for play. covenant ahead of all. na lie

barojana:
Covenant University has been named among the world’s 100 best universities in the emerging economies 2020.

The institution was ranked 91st in the annual list released by Times Higher Education (THE), on Tuesday. It is also the only Nigeria institution to make the cut.

Covenant University was jointly ranked on the same spot with National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan and University of Perandeniya, Sri Lanka.

THE explained that the list “includes only institutions in countries classified by the London Stock Exchange’s FTSE Group as ‘advanced emerging’, ‘secondary emerging’ or ‘frontier”.

It added that the ranking was done using 13 key performance indicators of institutions including their teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

THE noted such indicators, however, “are recalibrated to reflect the development priorities of universities in emerging economies.”

The ranking, which examined 533 universities from 47 countries or regions, has China has the most represented country with 81 of its institutions included in the list.

This was followed by India and Brazil with 56 and 46 institutions respectively.

The University of Ibadan (UI) secured the 105 position while the University of Lagos (UNILAG) was ranked 201–250 out of the 533 universities.

Even as a grad of a fed Uni, I must admit that covenant Uni is head above shoulders in tertiary education in Nigeria compared to the past glory fed and state Universities. They really deserve the ranking. I pray they achieve higher heights

CU has shown itself to be a fine Institution. I respect it.However there seems to be this "unhealthy" push to be seen/heard as being better than "All" Nigerian schools.

Its faculty has always been substantially made up of Nigerian trained academicians (Trained by the Purportedly poor public institutions) (Some of whom I hear have been trained at CU themselves) — This should mean something, right?

You could say CU has made available equipments previously not in their former institutions, but besides this being a flawed assumption, They'll have to "train up" on those equipments/practices for sometime, wouldn't they?

Some argue [and it's hard to counter them totally that by private institutions employing previously tenured/trained Nigerian academicians, they are indirectly subsidized by the government]

If they could train up and become proficient in the practices/equipments from CU's environment quickly that would mean to me that were already good instructors — from Nigerian Public Universities, right?

I assure you that if a more detailed/funded study is conducted on all these institutions, CU may really be better than a good number of the top 90.

But it seems CU looks to be okay with any position in any global ranking as long as it doesn't sit below any Other Nigerian institution. That's funny to me.

CU is a fine institution nonetheless but others don't have to be/look bad for them to be good/great.

yeah these are the lies they tell themselves after making people be afraid of the destroyer and of satan eating all your money. If it is done by freewill, why do you threaten people with all sort of curses for them to pay their tithes? Why do you promise them all sort of imaginary blessings if they pay? Tell that story to fools, not sane people like me.

that is part of freewill... some are stupid not to hold their ground and think especially in Africans, others in America can think... so if anyone is stupid enough to want to use money to buy heaven then he made a legaly purchase which he should be happy with afterall all Biblical verses, Torah of Jews and Islamic Quran are all online and dunce Africans choose not to read and understand
