It is not too late to leave Nigeria. Yet, you want to die in Lagos. When they gave you quit notice to leave the North, the entire Igbo elders went begging.

The only time you go to the East is for burial. That's the only thing Igboland is good for.
Who want to die in Lagos?? Stop talking like a deranged person, Igbos are everywhere in this world. You people should stop making it look as if it is only in Lagos Igbos are found.

Forget about Lagos and the north, just divide Nigeria let's see how those places will look like.

If you know the meaning of Narcissism you wont even bother bringing it to this conversation because the definition best describe a particular section of the country whose love for self admiration , selfishness , greed for money and false sense of self worth is second to non

So typical, you are not submissive but was pulled by your ears back into the union with a war, Igbos are not submissive but cry marginalization everyday. Chestbeating everyday with nothing to show for it.

What am I saying sef, Kanu who said worse is still on the run.
The problem I have with you is that, you always perpetrate falsehood here just to win an argument. Mrvitalis was right in what he said. We the Igbos are not submissive especially to tyrants.

For the records, let it be known that the British won the civil war for the zoo. The zoo wouldn't have won the civil war had it been the British didn’t help out.

It is on record that the zoo cannot get anything done properly without the help of Britain or the international communities.
Example of what am saying is the fight against Bokoharam. We all know that the zoo cannot win this war without the help of the international communities especially Britain.

As for kanu, his good works speaks for him.

This is good but it also have it's challenges both legal and extra-legal challenges.

1) Once IPOB members get elected, they too will face the same problems currently being faced by our political leaders.

2) Fighting for Biafrans and having good experience about governance with track records of achievements to deliver aren't exactly the same thing.

E.g How will an IPOB Governor clean up the mess in Aba? How will IPOB Governor get enough funds within four years to tarr several kilometers of roads with covered concrete drainages, pedestrian walkways and still be able to pay good salaries on time?

Does IPOB have any magic wands to develop the S/East? All these will show their limitations and the allures about being the 'defenders of the Igbos' will fizzle out

Oyatz my brother first don't mind that guy who calls other people brown roof when brown roofs exist everywhere.
To your point on funds for development;
Fund isn't all that is needed for development.
Does the Abia govt need money to clear the first in ABA? Not necessarily cos we can do a lot with the little we have like;
1) What are those prisoners doing?
Why not bring them out in batches to work under strong security? Those with 5yrs imprisonment can be reduced to 3yrs if they can do a clean up worth N250k salary for 1yr.
2) Cut wastes. Must security votes be spent? Why not spend it on human capacity building.
3) Stop appointing aides due to party affiliation but by expertise and performance.
4) Stop religious & ethnic bias of any nature
Bros just these four to start with and see how much turnaround one can make

The north cannot opt out now because they do not have or command a 2/3 majority in the national assembly. The north would've to go through the normal process if it wants to leave the federation.

Zik isn't only one man because he wasn't the only
elected politician from the East, others didn't speak up against his policies.

If the North left Nigeria, who would fight to bring them back? The Nigerian Military? They are the majority in the Military.

Is it the SE or SS that will fight to bring them back? Nobody in that area is going to go to war to bring them back.

At best, maybe some muslims in the SW will raise objections, but they dont have numbers to fight and bring the North back.

If the North decide that they want Nigeria to break up anyday, it is over for Nigeria.

The North have the power to leave Nigeria any time they want, whether 1960 or 2020. It is for ulterior reasons, one of which is Oil, that they are still in Nigeria

Stop calling Zik. In a democracy, the opinion of one man is what decides the future.

Invariably since you can't get your Biafra by yourself, you now want the north to break out first so that it would be easier for you since the SE won't want them back.
The SE wanted the north and did everything possible for the north to remain one Nigeria, what later happened?

You started your post with an "if", has the north told you they want to leave today and why banking on them?

The north couldn't leave before and after independence for obvious reasons...the British and the Igbos in charge. Zik wanted the north at all cost and even formed a government with it thereby transferring power to th north.

Why merging the SE/SS again, is it not for their oil and access to the sea? You accuse others for the same thing you're guilty of.
Leave the SS from your argument and talk about your Biafran enclave.

@the bolded, I'm confused with that, " one Man's opinion decides the future in a democracy "?
