My Hellish Experience: Swift Networks Wttx by letustalk(m): 9:55am On Feb 21, 2020 |
I am a Swift Networks wttx subscriber with number 263021 and I am writing this out of frustration. Kindly share until the management of swift Networks ltd gets this. Swift networks rolled out a recent package called the wttx. This means they come to your house, fix a pole which receives signals from a mast. A rep from Swift called me last year 2019 and was on and on about this package and although I was subscribed to a current different package (swift promo) I decided to enroll and with subscription kicking up April 2019 after paying about 250,000 for a year. Swift engineers came to my house, fixed it and all, and honestly from that moment it has been one hell of an experience to the other. Countless downtimes, sometimes running into days. Biggest mistake I ever made. This is not to talk of non-availability of Engineers to fix your issue and when they do, it is as though they are doing you a favor. Fast forward to January 2020 when I had visitors in my house, boom! It goes off again. I called severally and this time they told me my subscription was expired. Like am I hearing well? I paid for a year and how can subscription be ended January 2020 from April 2019? After several complaints and sending of evidence of payment I was cleared but then told there were technical difficulties. This is more than a month now. Not as much as a decent call. I was tempted to institute legal action but thought differently as I really do not even have that time or energy. Tried the regulators as well and believe me you dont even want me started about them. Sometimes we wonder why big businesses fail. The answers are not farfetched. I mean, you have a customer that pays a quarter of a million in one bullet and you treat them like shit. It is such a shame. SWIFT networks ltd, change your ways! Customers should matter most to you because we pay the bills! 1 Like 1 Share |

I think Ntel unlimited for a year is 195k, and you can take it anywhere. 1 Like 1 Share |

I think Ntel unlimited for a year is 195k, and you can take it anywhere. *A Fair Use Policy (FUP) of 1.8TB applies to this plan. after that u get speed of 512kbps 2 Likes 1 Share |

Wow! I'm surprised cause Swift Customer Care is usually better than their peers, But I've had a few bad experiences too. But none rivals the frustration I went through with IPNX, after paying for their unlimited Fiber at my Ikeja GRA location close to their main office. Can you believe despite the close proximity, When the internet went down, (I made payment as a new subscriber including installation cost) They refused to either repair or refund my payment, Apparently the Fiber connection was cut due to ongoing construction somewhere, and the cost of repairing it for a sole tenant wasn't worth the expense. But they refused to refund my money, by avoiding me at all costs. At some point, I was calling every day and they would blatantly lie to me. The entire customer care and sales unit. After 4 months of calling and no refunds. I got NCC involved in the issue. Something must have happened behind the scenes because I started getting calls from higher-ups instead of customer service. About a week after getting regulators involved I got the refund. These days I use Swift Wttx, And It has its days, but it's mostly stable on my end. |
