Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde aka Jennifer is a Nigerian actress and producer. Funke starred in the sitcom I Need to Know from 1998 to 2002, and in 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Funke Akindele has produced and acted lots of popular movies which includes Apaadi, Aye Olomo Kan, Omo Ghetto, Jenifa, Maami and so on. Although she was criticized by people after leaving the Yoruba scene and focusing more on English movie which brought about one of her biggest TV Show of all time, the JENIFER'S DIARY.

Funke Akindele has worked with lots of celebrities and starts in the Movie Industry which includes Femi Adebayo, Alex Ekubo, Eniola Badmus, Doris Simon, Mercyy Aigbe and lots more.
