The Entire areas of Lombardy and Veneto are currently on lockdown due to the virus, which has so far caused two deaths in Italy.

Three matches in the Serie A league scheduled to take place on Sunday have been postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak in Italy.

The news comes following an announcement on Saturday that 42 matches in the amateur and youth leagues had also been called off, along with the Serie B fixture between Ascoli and Cremonese.

Prime Minister of Italy announced that all sporting events in the Lombardy and Veneto region will be postponed due to an outbreak of the Coronavirus.

That means Sunday’s Serie A matches between Verona v Cagliari, Atalanta v Sassuolo and Inter v Sampdoria are not expected to go ahead.

“Minister of Sport Spadafora intends to suspend all sporting events planned for Sunday in the Veneto and Lombardy regions,” said Conte’s statement.

The rate at which this corona virus is spreading is faster than the speed of light. I pray they find cure/vaccine before the virus hit Africa.
To Nigerians in Italy, try every measure possible to protect yourselves from the virus because the Government motto is *OYO*
