HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Wed, September 2, 2020 Topic: Jesus' Witnesses ✝️ The Spirit's Word: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 KJV A true witness of Jesus is one baptised in the Holy Ghost. When we received the Holy Ghost, and spoke in other tongues, we received a measure of power also. You became a battery bank of God's power that requires constant charging. The Holy Ghost is different from power. He is the One with all of God's power, but man can't contain all of God's power. For this reason, we have the Anointing, which, is the ability (not only power) of God that works in you, and through you to be a witness of Jesus. The opening Scripture tells us that it is in four levels. As a new witness of Christ, we are anointed as witnesses to our immediate environment, i.e. Jerusalem. This can also refer to the Church. Our Anointing is effective amongst fellow believers of like minds, who also believe as we do. There isn't much resistance to the power of God since there is faith for things to happen. However. We must grow in the Anointing in order to go a step further. The more we walk in obedience, faith, love, prayer, the Word of God and fasting; the more the Anointing in us develops. In truth, you will know when your Anointing has progressed. The book of Ezekiel tells us of these four levels of the Anointing. It starts at the feet level, to the knees, to the loins or waist area, and finally an overflowing river. You can't take any gospel to the world without an overflowing river. Ezekiel 47:1-5. This is having the "spirit without measure" . John 3:34. This is what we should hunger for. We already have the Lord Jesus, and have the Holy Ghost. They are Persons, and not the Anointing. The Anointing is a product of your level of compliance with God's Word and God's free gift. So when people hunger and thirst for God, it is not actually Him. We already have Him, and He is enough for us. Now, you can hunger and thirst, or desire more of his power and glory. Psalm 63:1-2. At any level,we should keep seeking Him. There is always more with God. What a pleasant and honourable thing to be a witness for Jesus Christ. If, perhaps, you haven't been living up to this responsibility, it's not late. Don't let people perish by keeping quiet. Trust God for his gift of the spirit to be an effective witness. Every believer has a call to be a witness of Jesus. It is not restricted to the fivefold ministry. Reminder: Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:2 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Thu, September 3, 2020 Topic: Don't Dishonour People ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. John 8:49 KJV The Jewish elders, scribes, and pharisees were always fond of disagreeing with Jesus. They couldn't stand him. They were always dishonouring Him. They criticised his speech and actions. It is a terrible thing to dishonour people. It is not compulsory to agree with everybody. However, we must not go about disparaging people. The Bible tells all to honour all men. 1 Peter 2:17. How can you receive honour when all you do is dishonour people? We reap what we sow in this life. It's okay to disagree with people, but we must do it on love. We ought to seek clarity, rather than become judges. Think about what Jesus went through. He only wanted to do what God assigned Him, but what did He get? Resistance at almost every turn. Remember, He tried to hide from all these in the beginning. He didn't start doing public miracles in an ostentatious manner. He would hide from time to time. This tells us the kind of personality He had: meek and humble. He was never seeking His own glory, neither did He seek it from men, yet many dishonoured him. So sad. When you dishonour people, you will be lightly esteemed anywhere you turn. Honour is a seed. Honour is not eye service, neither is it unnecessary flattery or pleasantry. We live in a generation where social media is fast corrupting the minds of people. Don't join such a bandwagon. They are only headed in the path of destruction. Is it such a terrible thing to respect people? Think about the work the enemy is doing in our generation. The level of selfishness, greed and pride has gotten to a peak. It is prophesied that: To begin with, you must know and understand this, that scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires 2 Peter 3:3 AMPC. People who mock everything they see and hear, completely void of empathy and understanding. It's a time bomb age we're living in. In as much as grace prevails, God's Word stands sure. Everyone involved in such misdemeanor has a cup. If yours gets full, you must drink of it. Don't cast your lot with those of the world whose end is utter destruction. Jude 8-19. A word is enough for the wise. Reminder:... they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans1:28-32.KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 4, 2020 Topic: Build Up ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32 You are a building in Christ, even a city. Matthew 5:14. To grow is different from being built up. We must desire the sincere milk of the Word that we may grow. 1 Peter 2:2. You can grow, but this is not the same as being built up, or fortified, or established. It is the Word of His grace that establishes us. I have met people who are sound in the Word, as it were, mature believers. However, they lack strength. We see children grow up, and that is normal. But we see some who are healthier than some others, or who are fitter than others. Spiritual strength is the hallmark of being built up by the Word of His grace. Spiritual muscles are a function of the Word of His grace. What does this means? We must be established in the truth that it is only the grace of God that makes us stand. This is not to say we don't do anything. This is where many miss it. I have heard some preachers say there is nothing left to do. Far from it. The Apostle Paul testified that: But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10. It will be a grave mistake to attribute any of your works to what you receive in Christ. Yes, we must labour in the Word, in prayers, in fasting, in watching, in serving, etc. But we must only and always acknowledge that it is His grace that works in us. Think about it. We have received everything by His grace alone. He was the One who died for the world. It was His blood that was shed. This is why grace is the biggest thing in the new testament. But many have mistaken this for idleness, or slackness, or unrighteous living. It is not by works for anyone in Christ. Hear what Apostle Paul told us again: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 2 Corinthians 3:5. There is no boasting in this kingdom. If we must boast, we are only permitted to do it in God who has enabled us. 1 Corinthians 1:31. It is by His mercies we are not consumed. He is faithful, and never changes, so we are preserved. Next time you think of considering yourself in a sanctimonious fashion by comparing how much you fast or pray or study the Word, more than your brethren, you are wrong. It will be hard for you to receive from God, because you still cling to the magnitude of your works. Reminder: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 5, 2020 Topic: Finding Grace in His Eye ✝️ The Spirit's Word:... Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:8-9 KJV No one can claim to be an encyclopedia of the ways of God. We all know that God is not a respecter of persons. Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11. He accepts those that fear Him, and work righteousness. The first one after the fall to find grace in God's eye was Noah. To find grace means to be highly favoured by God. God loves humanity, but He also has favourites. It is wisdom to know what qualifies one to be in this awesome position with God. Looking at what was said about Noah, He was a just man (who believed in God), perfect in his generations (obeyed God and His Word), and walked with God (was in constant fellowship with God). Noah's generation was a corrupt one. All flesh had been corrupted or mingled with the seed of fallen angels. I always find this part of the Bible difficult to imagine. But think about our generation, and how science is going deeper and deeper into depths of darkness. We hear of various experiments being carried out for different selfish and sinister missions. Noah was separated from the works of wickedness and violence that was normal in his day. For this reason was He singled out by God. The name Noah means rest. Knowing the importance God attaches to names, especially in those days, we can say He was a man of rest and peace. He rested in God as his only hope and salvation. The Bible tells us: the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. 2 Chronicles 16:9. A perfect heart is what qualifies us to find this special grace and favour in God's eye. What does it mean to have a perfect heart? The heart is the spirit. First, you must have a new heart which is to be born again, and be baptised in the Holy Spirit who becomes one with our spirit. From this point, we must remove every form of guile and deception from our hearts. We can lie to people, but we can't lie to God or self. God has nothing to do with hypocrites. He commands all to bring every hidden thing to the light. Luke 8:17. King David was a man after God's heart, because he was yielded to God. David didn't put up any resistance towards God. Acts 13:22. When we still try to cover our sins, or disregard any point of God's Word, we are far from having this perfect heart. There must be sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:8. Nathaniel was a man in all of Israel in whom was found no guile. Jesus testified that of him, and because of that, the Lord told him how he would see angels ascending and descending upon Him. When your heart is free of guile, and having sincerity and truth, the spiritual becomes your natural realm quite easily. John 1:47-51. Reminder: Perfection starts with godly sincerity and truth of heart. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 6, 2020 Topic: Strength For The Last Days ✝️ The Spirit's Word: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Revelation 12:12 KJV The evil in the world is on the increase. The enemy has a short time, and increased wrath. He wants to discredit God by taking as many with him, including believers, to the lake of fire. A Christian ought not to fear as long as he or she is standing strong. We need strength like never before in the coming days. It will take strength, faith and endurance to survive the onslaught of the enemy. Power alone would fail. Power is only effective where these three are in optimum level. We gather strength by waiting upon the Lord. The most important aspect of waiting upon God is hearing the voice of God. This is because: The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars yea, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon. Psalms 29:4-5. When you hear His voice, you are in tune with what He is set to do. You also receive divine intelligence of all the enemy plans to do. How can you be perturbed? No matter what the enemy throws at you, you'll remain standing like Mount Zion that can't be moved. Psalm 125:1-3. Who can trust God better than the One who constantly hears His voice, and already knows how the matter will end? Elijah was a man of power, but fainted when the wicked Jezebel threatened him. 1 Kings 19:3-4. But he did return to them after going on a journey. He heard the voice of God, and was comforted. The enemy will do all manner of theatrics to make us fall. However, the Bible says: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10, 13. Waiting on God to hear from Him offers us the strength to resist temptation and the attacks of the enemy. Waiting is more effective when we fast, and separate ourselves from every distractions. It is not quite an easy thing to tune into the spirit, but it takes practice. Yes, it takes practice. The more you spend quiet times with God, a time comes when these seeming distractions no longer interfere. We must know that in this kingdom, everything works better when we persevere. Perseverance is the bedrock for every spiritual virtue to deliver. Confessions of the scriptures won't deliver for us when we don't do the Word, and persevere. Before Jesus started talking things to be, he persevered. Reminder: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 7, 2020 Topic: Programmed For Success ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV Talk about a happy Scripture in the Bible, the opening verse is one perfect example of such. It is one that encourages, consoles, comforts, motivates, gladdens, etc. Truly, all things work together for good to everyone that loves God, and who He has called. What this means is that you have recognised the calling of God in your life, accepted it, and now going in the same direction. God is more willing than we are to see His plans and purposes unfold on earth. Remember, we don't even know the end of our purpose. We only run with it, because we love God, and want to cooperate with Him. But, God is a perfect God. He knows all things, and has designed us to fit into a perfect maze. In my most recent years, I have discovered that God truly has everything planned out. The way and manner many things just fall into place keeps me wondering how it could have happened by chance. On the contrary, it is purely the Hand of God. The Bible tells us that: There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord , that shall stand. Proverbs 19:21. You may be in a position right now that doesn't look like God's hand is with you. It could even be a situation that puts you on the other side of God. However, God controls times and seasons. He factored all the circumstances into the equation. The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Proverbs 21:1. The ways of God are beyond finding out all of it. We can only know just a little of it as the Spirit of God reveals to us. The depths and heights of God are boundless, and so, how can any human attain to it? God uses any base thing, or even a miserable situation to bring out the most glorious. He can do any thing. It is wisdom to love God, so that all things work for our good. All things work for bad to the haters of God, until they are completely humbled. And if they refuse to repent, then they pass away with the rest of the works and agents of evil. Loving God is being committed to Him. We are not equal with God, and will never be. Hence, we must submit to Him. Until we choose to submit and obey Him, it's a vicious circle of frustration. The truth is that God can't force you to love Him. One thing I have realised about loving God is that, it may seem to be difficult at first, but He takes you through the fire of trials to purify your motives and your thoughts about Him. After this, you'd never be moved. Reminder: We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 8, 2020 Topic: Scarcely Saved? ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:18 KJV “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?” 1 Peter 4:18 WMB False teachers are not necessarily evil. Some are Satan's agents, while others are ignorant. The ones who are ignorant are either wilfully ignorant, or just lazy to study God's Word for living. It is a terrible thing to open your Bible only when you want to teach, or for the sake of prideful knowledge. This Word of God that we preach is a sweet savour to some, and to others, a token of their impending perdition. 2 Corinthians 2:15-16. May God give us wisdom. First, I'll like to say that the salvation message must be preached to all at every level, and not just those who the enemy has blindfolded. Even Christians can miss it. We must preach salvation continually to checkmate our lives, if we are still in the faith. Apostle Paul told us: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Corinthians 13:5. If he saw the need to say that, it means a Christian can lose his salvation. "Once saved is always saved" is pure nonsense. It's a doctrine from hell. The opening verse is full of clarity. There is no other way you can interpret it. It is hard for the righteous to be saved. The righteous is the believer. We must persevere to be saved. We must continue in the faith to be saved. We must live a righteous and holy life to be saved. We must be in constant fellowship and communion with God to be saved. Salvation is something we ''hope'' for in the day of His appearance. Romans 8:24, 1 Thessalonians 5:8. The salvation we have now is by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8. But when He shall come, it is faith, hope and love that He is coming for. He has to find these three in you. You can't live anyhow. You are not wiser than God. God will never be mocked by any mortal man. It's wisdom to find God through His Word. Seek Him more, and never be full of yourself that you think you have figured it all out. Let him who thinks he stand take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12. Don't be among those that make a merchandise of God's Word. The Word owns you, and not the other way around. It is your source, because the Word of God is God Himself. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Reminder: Those who say you can't lose your salvation have many struggles with righteousness and holiness. Read Phillippians 2:12. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Wed, September 9, 2020 Topic: First Get It Right ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye. Luke 6:42 NKJV It is a fact that people struggle with a lot of things. It is also a big travesty to try to help people in the thing you still struggle with. It can't work. What principles could you teach them that has refused to work out for you. It is better you let them know you also struggle with such, and then present any truth you may have found about it. Jesus says it is hypocritical to claim to have the answers when it is so obvious you are neck deep in the same or similar problem. This is why we must preach to ourselves, before venturing to preach to others. Everyone can share the Gospel of salvation, but when it comes to certain truths that are unverified by you, how can you help another person? You can't preach divine health to someone when you always fall sick, or take preventive medication. There is no spirit backing up your message, and it won't yield any fruit in the lives of those that you are offering. It is important we spend time with God. Everyone came into this world with one negative issue or another. To some, it is more than they can bear. If we spend time with God, He can help us overcome. And we can, in turn, help others. This is because you can always relate with such plight. No man can help another man without being first helped by God. If God helps you, there is a motivation and drive to help others. You're also empowered by the Spirit to help others out of their problems. The truth is we can worsen people's problems when we think we can help them. Only God can help or deliver anybody. There has to be a breaking of the outer man in order to release the Spirit. And for the outer man to break, we must become selfless, and not selfish. Don't go to people with a superiority as though you never had problems of your own. I like to be frank with people, and sometimes I know I can be hard. Everyone's situation is peculiar, and we don't know how God would want the matter to end. For this reason, I try to always point people to God. However, most people look to men rather than God. They say they want God, and more of him, but in their hearts they need a quick fix, and if man would give it to them, they are okay with that. Our motive may be pure for trying to help others, but it is not in every situation we think we can help. There is always something we can do, which is encourage and strengthen people. If we can't help their situation, let's not make it worse. Reminder: You may get some answers from men, but let your eyes always be on God. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Thu, September 10, 2020 Topic: Esau Generation ✝️ The Spirit's Word: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. Romans 9:13 KJV The opening Scripture may seem unfair to the lay person. It may try to suggest that God is unfair or unjust. But we know that our God is just, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Romans 9:14. Apostle Paul expounded on the election of God. God is omniscient. knowing the end of a thing before the beginning. Isaiah 46:10. For instance, Judas made the decision to betray Jesus, even as it was foretold. It was His cooperation with the adversary that led to his own demise and perdition. Why did God hate Esau? We know that Esau, as an individual, was loved by Isaac, but Rebecca loved Jacob. Esau was a hunter, and his father enjoyed the game he brought from the field. Genesis 25. Ordinarily, Esau was just a son that pleased his earthly father. However, he fell short before his Spiritual Father, God. The writer to the Hebrews said: Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Hebrews 12:16-17. Esau's sin was a lack of spirituality. He had no respect for spiritual things. He was only responsive to the carnal nature, which is idolatry. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6. No carnal person can please God. Esau sold his birth right for food. This same food the adversary used in the temptation series of Jesus. It is a terrible thing to be carnally minded. It means you are not alive to the fatherhood of God. If you are alive to God, you will, by all means, be spiritual. God is Spirit. He is also the Father of spirits. Hebrew 12:9. Don't live a life that only perceives the natural. If you believe you are a higher class of being compared to the animals, you have to show it in every way. Some are mad at God. They ask all manner of questions that show they just can't submit to God. Questions that deny the existence or reign of God. They keep wondering why and how, and this makes them wanderers on the earth. Just like Cain, they are cut off from the presence of God and are more or less vagabonds. Don't let this be you. God is real. You don't need an explanation to figure that out. Be spiritual. Learn to pray, fast, study the Word, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and other believers. Being spiritual is nothing more than acknowledging God, and doing what He says to be done. Reminder: An Esau generation can't make heaven. Obadiah 1:18-21. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 11, 2020 Topic: Contrition ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3 KJV The poor in spirit is a humble person; one who sees how small and insignificant they are without God. They find no satisfaction else where. Jesus is the only hope they have. It is quite interesting this is the first of the beatitudes. I also know it is the last test God puts you through before promoting you. When you are truly humble, you can have God. What I mean is that, you can own God like He is your property. God loves a contrite heart. This is the attitude we must develop as children of God. The Lord told us, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-4. How do you identify pride? When you still get easily embarrassed, and offended. Ambition and competition are elements of pride. When you always want to know what another person is up to, for the wrong reasons, that's pride. Our God is so humble, it's almost unbelievable. For this reason, He wants to dwell with the lowly person. We have to see others above us, and ahead of us. We are in a race, but we run alone. No competition in God. King David told us being broken and contrite is the real sacrifice our God is seeking. Psalm 51:17. God is never far from them. Have you ever considered what Apostle James meant by this: Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:5. Material poverty doesn't mean you're humble. There are prideful poor people. It is the biggest secret in the kingdom - contrition. God can't stand or even behold pride. The Lord Jesus chose the poor as disciples, because He knew pride comes with riches. He had rich disciples, but not so many. For this reason, God breaks a man in the issues of money or finance before using that man. You can't have your eyes on God and money at the same time. Luke 16:13. Be liberal. I know one thing, that money will always leave the hands of those who are fixated on it. Contrition must be our character and attitude. We must wear it in everything we do and say. The eyes of God are upon the humble and contrite person. Isaiah 66:2. He also revives such a person. Isaiah 57:15. If you really desire God as your ally, just be humble. There is no contrition without the fear of the Lord. Reminder: God can't work in an environment of pride. Our calling in life is not an ambition, but a divine purpose. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 12, 2020 Topic: God's Exalted Mountain ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Isaiah 2:2 KJV A mountain can mean something positive or negative. Let's look at the positive meaning. We have heard stories of how they have been refuge from war and other calamities. A mountain can be a safe haven. Nobody can deny the existence of mountains. They standout in any place they are located. This represents influence. Mountains are a symbol of Influence. The opening Scripture show us what God has planned in these last days. The Church shall be at the top of all others, whether it is politics, or media, or education, etc. This tells us that God is going to make the Church a solution centre to all the world's problems. The Lord told me, '' we can't have world peace''. As long as the world has its own version of peace, different from the Prince of Peace, they will only keep stumbling into more and more adversities and problems. Only in Christ can we have peace. We see issues like climate change, global warming, political unrest, gender confusion, etc., which have all arisen as a result of trying to do things apart from God. He, alone, has the answers to all these problems that have made man a shadow of God's purpose. God is about to crown His church with power, wisdom, riches, glory, honour, strength, and blessing like never before. Revelation 5:12. All these sevenfold arsenal is God going to use in these last days. All that people seek is summarised in them. Power to heal all kinds of diseases, with signs and wonders like has never been. Medicine can't cure or manage all the diseases the enemy has injected into the world; the wisdom to proffer solutions to all these problems. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, Ephesians 3:10 NIV. Strength to displace spiritual strongmen (demons) over territories, and take over cities and even, countries for God. Glory and honour to beautify the lives of all who have known shame all their lives. Glory is also for transfiguration. The tares and weeds the enemy planted in the lives of men must be rooted out. Honour dignifies us as true sons of God. To show that it is His will for His children to be rich, the wealth of the sinners will be given over to the church. Proverbs 13:22, Isaiah 45:3. God's blessing is reserved only for His own people. After all these, the earth shall bubble with the knowledge of God's glory, and all people shall flow into the House of God. Habakkuk 2:14. Reminder: God's Word always come to pass. Be part of the move. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 13, 2020 Topic: Incarnation ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 KJV In the beginning of creation, God spoke and things were created and formed. The Word of God also became flesh in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a great mystery. The Word became flesh and dwelt among mortal man. This is incarnation. We know why He did it - to redeem man. However, let's look at the concept of incarnation. The virgin Mary conceived without the natural process as designed by God, where a man knows a woman. God had to bypass this process, because God is Spirit. However, God's Word is the raw material of everything that exists. If there would ever be any other thing created, it can only come from the Word. The Word is also light, and life. John 1:4. God is light, and this means all the make up of God is light. 1 John 1:5. Light is the tangible material of the spirit. We can't see words, they are only spoken and heard, but the Holy Ghost came upon Mary, and His power overshadowed her. Luke 1:35. When God manifests His presence, and glory, it's always by a brightness that darkness can't stand. For this reason, we must do all to get the Word from the Bible pages into Light in our lives. Only light can birth anything meaningful in our lives. Isaiah 60:1-3. Light is the only medium through which the spiritual becomes the physical. We can only access light by the Holy Ghost. If we don't engage Him through the Word, and in fellowship, we can't access light. Things die because of the presence of darkness. It's light that liberates. For that sickness or disease to be a thing of the past, the light of God has to tabernacle on your mind, and body too. Even science tells us that light is made up of particles called photons. If physical light can be as useful as we have today, how much more spiritual light. We must engage spiritual secrets in the Word to see that the Word of God becomes incarnated in our lives and situation. If we don't speak what we have believed, how can we see a manifestation of the reality we envisage. If we don't see what is written concerning us, how shall they ever come to be? A seeing eye, a hearing ear and an understanding heart is what we should ask the Holy Ghost for as we constantly fellowship with Him. The principle is simple: God calls those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:17. We must learn also to speak and hear as God does. Reminder: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:3 KJV. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 14, 2020 Topic: Christ Expression ✝️ The Spirit's Word: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV As Christians, we should say the things that God has said about us. But it is not enough to just say, we must live it. Christ-likeness is not about speaking, but being. We will only be deceiving ourselves when we keep speaking the truths of God's Word, and live a life that is far from it. Yes, we are crucified with Christ. Do you make void the reality of this truth? Many of us quench the spirit of God. We do not let Christ find expression in our lives by the thoughts we keep or harbour in our hearts towards others, or the Words we speak, or the way we live our lives. Our aim is to get better everyday as we make the utmost to live for Him who died for us. I have learned over the years not to take people at their word. A picture paints a thousand words is very true. We live in a world where people can say anything but when push comes to shove, they do the exact opposite. How can Christ ever be revealed in our lives if we don't work at getting better in the way we conduct ourselves. The Bible says: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. James 4:17. Reading your bible daily won't suffice. Going to church or being a minister of the Gospel won't either. Until we decide to do what Christ would have us do under any circumstance, this is how true transformation begins. 2 Corinthians 3:18 tells us we go from glory to glory as we behold the Word. However, James tells it better. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he's like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 1:22-25. It can be frustrating to expect things to happen, and not comply with godly principles. Even prayer won't do the trick. You can't be praying for God to change you, without sincerity in your heart to be determined to change. He would definitely test you with simple instructions. This way, He will reveal the state of your heart. The Bible clearly warns us that the believer is an enemy of the world and vice versa. 1 John 2:15-16. You must disconnect every desire for worldly affections to be a true candidate of Galatians 2:20. The Spirit of God can't mingle with the spirit of the world. All of us were at one time friends with the world and its lustful desires. There comes a time, you must be truly and sincerely separated. Jesus is not satisfied with 99 percent of you. It's all or nothing. No sane man shares his wife with another man. Reminder: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 15, 2020 Topic: Unveiling Mysteries ✝️ The Spirit's Word: For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. I Corinthians 14:2 NKJV The amplified version uses "secret things and hidden truths'' in the place of mysteries. We all know what a mystery is - something not understood. What is the purpose of tongues? It portrays intimacy with God. It is also a way of the Spirit in helping us to communicate best with God. That which is done in the secret place is kept secret. Dwelling in the secret place of the Most High means He won't hide things from you. Speaking mysteries doesn't mean it is hidden from you. There is a way of unveiling them. If a married person tells one other than their spouse what goes on in their bedroom, they have failed. Our destination in Christ is rest. Isaiah 28:11-12 shows us that tongues is the way to get there. Tongues are the only new gifts of the Holy Spirit that weren't in the Old Testament. This is because Jesus was not yet revealed. Jesus is the real deal. He is the One that seals it all up between God and men. He is to man a perfecter. Now, the opening verse tells us we speak secret things and hidden truths when we speak in tongues. We can go a step or two further. It is not God's will that we be ignorant of what these mysteries which we speak are. In fact, we speak in tongues because the Holy Ghost, who knows the mind of God, and His will for us, knows exactly what to say per time. For this reason, we must desire an interpretation of these secrets. Read 1 Corinthians 2:9-11. As there is a gift of the interpretation of tongues, don't think it a hard thing for you who speaks in tongue to know what it is you are saying. Rest is simply being free from your labour's and strivings. The Holy Spirit showed me a way to do it. I heard how some of God's generals talked about interpreting their tongues. I decided to try it, and the Holy Spirit dropped it into my spirit what we were praying about. What the Holy spirit made me to grasp was that any issue that I did not yet have a clue to, I should believe to get the answers while I prayed in tongues. As I did, the answers and way out was given to me. Things being downloaded by the Holy Spirit found their way into my mind or consciousness. You can also give it a try. I didn't say you should focus on a problem, but rather if there are ideas you are believing God for, or unanswered questions, be open to Him about it while you pray in tongues. He will give you not only one, but several ideas. We can't make the Holy Spirit pray anything in particular, for the Bible is clear that it is not for us to tell the Holy Spirit what to pray for. Romans 8:26-27. Someone may be dying next to you; if you start speaking in tongues, there is no certainty that the Holy Spirit is praying exactly about that situation. He prays according to the will of God, so don't mistake that truth. Reminder: Be a lover of God, and there is nothing that would be hidden from you. Read Psalm 25:14. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 18, 2020 Topic: Mighty Men of War ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. 2 Samuel 23:1-3 KJV After King David's victorious exploits, He gave a summary of what is required for a man to rule. He was speaking under the Anointing of the Holy Ghost. No man was anointed three times like David was and so, He had a measure of the Spirit that no other king had in his days. Even though, he didn't fully live by the principles that the Holy Ghost uttered through his mouth (verse 5), He was a king that all should emulate, in terms of the good, who would be used by God. There were 37 mighty men God gave to David, who helped him in accomplishing all that the Lord purposed for him. We can't do it alone. No man is an island and for this reason, we must be united as a Body. One of the devil's antics is to bring division. Once there is division, the power of God is impeded. We talk about David, the beloved of the Lord. However, the Lord knows it would be a great injustice not to mention those that helped him to win those battles. For this reason, a whole chapter of the Bible was dedicated to them - these mighty men of valour, and their respective feats mentioned. It is not out of place to thank, recognise and honour those who helped you along the way. However, all the glory belongs to God. How can we relate this to this day? We are not in a physical, but spiritual battle. 2 Corinthians 10:3. Thus, the Holy Ghost saw it proper to mention the truth that we must be just (righteous) and rule in the fear of the Lord. Without these two, we can't conquer anything. The enemy knows this, and that is why he will always make men fall to pride and sin. The fear of the Lord is hating and abstaining from every single thing God detests. It is living a life that pleases God. It is not enough to claim the gift of righteousness, but we must live it. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1 John 3:7. God has emotions. He can be hurt, as well as pleased. How can you face the enemy when he has something in you? If these 37 were not loyal to King David, what could he have achieved? It took one man, Judas, to betray Jesus and ended His ministry on earth. If we, are not loyal, faithful and submitted to Christ our Lord, how can we, with Him, prevail against the enemy. For this reason, many don't live a fulfilled and victorious life. No matter what whoever preaches out there, if there is sin in your life, it is a stumbling blocking. The Bible warns never to give place to the enemy. Ephesians 4:27. Reminder: Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 19, 2020 Topic: Partakers of God ✝️ The Spirit's Word: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV I love the opening verses. It's so powerful. God has made us share in His divine nature. Divine nature means the life of God being lived on earth, in this mortal body. A life free from corruption; that won't perish or succumb to the decadence already in the world. It's a life of glory and power. Anything is possible according to His will. It is lust that brings about corruption, and revelation that delivers this blessedness to us. Apostle John summarised the three deathly powers of the world in: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. 1 John 2:16. These are Satan's wiles and devices. He uses these three in bringing men down. Every believer must be aware of these manipulative arsenal of darkness. There is no void in life. Every empty space must be filled up. Matthew 12:43-45. If we don't fill up our lives with God, the enemy will fill it up for us. We've got to be responsible for our own lives. Our eyes and ears can put us in trouble. We must hear only things related to God. We must also only see visuals that can only build us up. Don't feed your lust. We must be intentional with our thoughts, words, and actions. No one has attained to God's best for them. There is always a next phase of glory or virtue. We don't stop growing in revelation of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Even in heaven, eternity can't suffice to know all there is to Him. For this reason, we must be diligent with studies that reveal the Lord continually. No better person than the Holy Ghost. John 16:13-15. This is the wisest thing any man can do and it is for our profiting. Seeking God is a lifelong venture. Don't be ever satisfied with that minuscule knowledge you have of Him. It doesn't matter the grace that has been multiplied in your life, never feel fulfilled. There are depths of God no man has entered into. This must be our purpose, before any individual calling. God is love and light. Hence, loving Him and our neighbours should never be tiring or exhausting. Also, discovering more light about His nature, will, character, etc., should never be a thing we take lightly. The purpose of these pursuit is not for what we can get, but our love for Him. There is no one who truly loves another, that wouldn't care to know all there is to know about them. We are in a love relationship with God. The more we know Him, the more we are able to love. Reminder: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 20, 2020 Topic: Act Like It ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Psalms 100:2 KJV Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies... Deuteronomy 28:47-48 KJV Some people love the praises and opinions of men more than any other thing. They would do anything to be noticed or seen by men. This is a form of bondage. They always want people to talk or say something about their body language. It's an inferiority complex. We are not called to be conscious of people's opinions but of God. This set of people may be brethren, or leaders in the Church. They do things so people can form a line of enquiry. They are modern day pharisees, who love to be approved by men. Matthew 23:5. God is good. It doesn't matter your experiences - good or bad. That you are alive is proof of His goodness. Don't wear a countenance that discredit God's goodness. You may have had terrible experiences. You are not the only one. Many have, and many will. Don't always look to man to share your story of how you have seen this, and that like God forsook you, in other to receive sympathy or praise from men. God is not pleased with such an attitude. The opening verses tell us to serve God with gladness, not sorrow. As far as God is concerned, there is a curse that follows whoever will not serve Him with joyfulness of heart for the abundance of all things. We must see from God's perspective. The Bible is replete with men of God who went through ""hell" and back. Paul had a special call to suffer for the Name of Jesus Christ. Acts 9:16. However, he was the one that told us to rejoice always. Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16,18. There are some who would never join in congregational singing or dancing. In the house of God, they just put up a front to be different from others. They just want people to notice them, and so give an impression that God is not deserving of their outward show of His praise. Shyness or timidity is not from God. We must never be shy to praise Him. We must never be proud too. Don't put your opinions above the worship of God. The enemy is always there waiting for you to fall short. We must always act like God has been good to us. Truly, He has been good to us. His goodness is to all. It is written: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45. I've had thoughts of God keeping back the sun from shining, or the rain from falling for a period of time. It isn't something anyone should be looking forward to. For this reason, quit wearing that look that makes people ask you what is wrong all the time. Reminder: in every situation, you are still better off than another. A living dog is better than a dead lion. Ecclesiastes 9:4. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 21, 2020 Topic: More Given, Little Taken ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. Mark 4:24-25 KJV The above statement was made by Jesus. Many Christians find this aspect of His speech incomprehensible. Do you think it's unfair or unjust? Let's not forget the Lord told us never to cast our pearls before swine, nor what is holy to dogs. Matthew 7:6. The principles of the Kingdom of God is for as many who can accept it. There is the doctrine of election. Heaven is not for all. It is sad, but true. God wants all men to be saved, but not all men want this. Before He made the above statement, He had been teaching the people about the Kingdom. However, He taught them in riddles or parables. He also told His disciples that the truth is available to them who are within, while the outsiders will have it only when they are ready for it. Many follow Jesus for what they can get from Him. He chided the multitude for persisting with Him because He fed them with bread. John 6:26. Many are in the Church, but have no spirituality. Paul calls them: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:7. Until the heart is right, there is no reformation. Until our motives are pure, there can be no transformation or fruitfulness. It's the reason many have been in Christ, and are yet to see any materialisation. Saying something to two people can be heard differently. He told us to be careful of what we hear. It's not everyone that attends a Bible conference that will get a hundredfold harvest. Some may come out of that place worse that they got there in the first place. We must make sure our hearts are not twisted. Remove every form of guile or deceit. Don't be critical of truth. Don't assume a posture of a readiness to argue with truth. It is not profitable at all. Jesus says we must accept the kingdom like little children before we can enter into it. Luke 18:16. Little children don't question what they are told. We can't take some scriptures and reject another. They are one and the same. It is the same Lord that inspired all scriptures. Recall the Israelites were always rebellious towards God, and He made their eyes shut, and their ears waxed so they may not perceive the truth and be converted. Isaiah 6:9-10. We also had some Israelites Kings who ruled with perfect hearts, and some without a perfect heart. With the right heart, you would definitely feel after God and seek Him. Acts 17:27. He will never withhold anything good when you truly come after Him. The state of your heart matters a lot to God. Don't keep asking vain questions like God is a mystery, or an enigma that can never be understood. That's not a good heart. Reminder:...that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:19-20 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 22, 2020 Topic: God's Backing ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs. Exodus 4:15, 17 KJV We must recognise that God is on the look out for men who would do His will on earth. Once God finds one who is ready, like Isaiah said, "here am I, send me", He will back that person with all that is required to bring that mission to His perfect will. God can't work outside faith. For this reason, we have some who've had spiritual encounters. These encounters, like Moses and the burning Bush, are for those who have a high calling, that your faith alone in the Scriptures may not suffice. He appears to men and women to make sure they see and believe. You can't doubt what you see. Even an illusion appears real, let alone the real image. By all means, God will do all that it takes to get your faith at its peak. Moses was the one to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt. He would have to contend with all the forces of darkness, and the Pharaoh who could have him killed just by a word. Ecclesiastes 8:4. Hence, God had to ensure Moses knew with all certainty that He had his back. Make no mistake, we walk by faith and not by sight. Moreover, there are experiences that we have never imagined that could come up in the course of our mission. Encounters are God's way to instill courage. We all know that God doesn't appear to everyone. It is not that He can't or doesn't want to. I have discovered that those who, without supernatural encounters, yet follow up with God as though they've had encounters, are most pleasing to God. God is pleased with men who continue with Him, even though they haven't seen Him. Apostle Peter said: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1 Peter 1:7-8. Don't wait for encounters. Keep believing and trusting God. He has your back. If you get encounters, that's great and precious. However, to whom much is given, much more will be required. Luke 12:48. The Word of God will never fail. As long as you do what is required in His Word, according to how He designed the pattern, His Word is more sure than any encounter. And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. Exodus 25:40. Reminder: And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:19-21 NKJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Wed, September 23, 2020 Topic: Sexual Sins ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV Fornication, adultery, and sexual perversion are sins that connects one to demons. It gives demons the right to invade your body which is the temple of God. The temple of God must be holy at all times. We have to understand that God needs permission to work in and with us. We are responsible for what happens to our bodies. The enemy only wants to desecrate man, and make him unusable by God. Your body is a house, and a city. Matthew 5:14. When you allow these sins, you automatically join yourself to these demons, who become strangers and aliens that infiltrate your system. These demons have one mission: steal, kill, and destroy. You grant them unrestricted access. When God tells us not to indulge in these sins, it is for our own good. The Holy Ghost is both with and in us. But He will not abide in us, and cohabit with devils. Neither will he drive them out for you, because the same way you granted Him access, is the same way you grant these devils. When we grant these aliens permission, He has no other choice but to leave. For this reason, the doctrine of sanctification is crucial. Many don't want to hear messages on sanctification, but we have to cooperate with God. Cooperating with God is to live a life of holiness and righteousness. There is nothing clean or holy about demons. They are repugnant, stinking, desecrating, and less than the scum of the earth. They are called unclean spirits for that reason. Many people will not stay in a house where someone has defecated openly. But what we fail to understand is that, when we commit these sins against our bodies, the enemy comes in to pollute everything within. The kind of visions I used to see when the Holy Ghost started a sanctification work in my life astonished me. Many people don't realise that grace can't replace sanctification. Grace only replaced the righteousness of the law. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17. God is holy. He expects us to be holy. If it was impossible, He wouldn't have asked us to be holy. 1 Peter 1:16. Don't have that mindset that you have to yield to these sins from time to time. For this reason, we are told to renew our minds. We've got to believe the Word above popular opinions. People assume as a result of their personal experiences. The first step to living this life of holiness is to believe it is possible. Then trust the Holy Spirit to work on you, while you cooperate with Him. If you are still living a life that's not conscious of the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost, you are far from living a holy life. Reminder: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8 KJV. Read Psalm 51:7. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Thu, September 24, 2020 Topic: People God ✝️ The Spirit's Word: The earth is the Lord's , and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalms 24:1 KJV God is interested in people. He died for people. For this reason, He's also concerned about the vocation people are engaged in. I have heard some men of God give prophecies with respect to sports, and this has raised the eyebrows of some who are not discerning. They say things like, "with all the problems in the world, God chose this topic to speak about''. And for this reason, they lightly esteem such prophecies. Surely, there are fakes out there. However, as long as your vocation doesn't deny, or gainsay the truth of God, He is not against you. Everybody isn't called to religion or the clergy. Don't be too spiritual that you miss the entire purpose of God. God wants to have His people in sports, politics, economics, media, and all other unclerical occupation. He is interested in people, first, before any other thing. Today, we know there are some ungodly jobs such as prostitution, which is completely against the will of God. He still wants to show this set of people His love. God is more interested in bringing about a transformation in your life through His love than through religion or the fear of hell. He is love, and this love is in the direction of people. Angels haven't seen the love of God the way and manner God has demonstrated it towards man. Hebrews 1:5. It is good a man identifies His calling. We have been gifted in many ways, and also in diverse manifestations. Never see one calling as more important than another. With God, there is no competition. If you chose to bring competition, or contempt, then the principle of "first shall be last" will hold strong in your life. It's the way of God, because when you make yourself the least, He exalts and promotes you. However, when you make yourself the first, and think everyone else is doing something that isn't as special as what you are doing, then He makes you last. Don't be like those that say they love God with their mouths, but despise people with their words and actions. It's pure deceit. Loving God is loving people. There is no action God will instruct a man to do, that isn't towards the benefit of people. If God tells you to sow a seed or give a sacrificial offering, He isn't the One to benefit from that but people. When He tells you to be holy, it is not for His benefit. It still boils down to people. God wants to use a man to reach people. You cry for power and glory. Who will you use it to minister to, if not people. The best life is one that is void of selfishness. You can start making adjustments in order for your life to be sweet towards people. This is what pleases God. Loving God, and loving people are two separate commandments, but totally tied together. Keeping one alone can't suffice. Reminder: Treat others as you want them to treat you. This is what the Law and the Prophets are all about. Matthew 7:12 CEV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 25, 2020 Topic: Not Beyond You ✝️ The Spirit's Word: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Hebrews 12:3-4 KJV Whenever you are going through temptations, trials, tribulation, or persecution, always remember this Scripture. As long as it hasn't reached the point of life and death, it is not beyond you. You can be victorious. We have Jesus as our example. As a man, it was Him alone against the world. He didn't yield to the many contradictions that faced Him headlong. He got to the point of life and death, and chose the later just because of us. There is nothing that can ever happen to a man that God hasn't given us control over. The Lord told us to be of good cheer, as He overcame the world. John 16:33. This Scripture is for us. God is God any day, and anytime. We must take His Word for the truth that it is. We can go past excuses we make everyday. We can be victorious everyday. This is not to deny the troubles. There is no Christian that wouldn't face troubles in this world. The world only loves its own. We are not of the world. It is a proof that you belong to God, when the world kicks against you, and we have what it takes to resist. When we put up a fight, we can be sure that we will be strengthened. This is one of the ways God can promote us. Every level, and realm has its own opposition. Life is not a bed of roses. In as much as we confess the scriptures that appeal to us, we must never live a life of illusions where we believe bad things don't happen. I always tell people, we must be as watchful and sensitive as possible. Before a sickness comes, there is first, a symptom, then another. Don't give room for the fiery dart of the enemy to gain full penetration. Once you notice the smallest problem, that's the time to resist. It is better to kill a snake that has only its head in the hedge, that for the snake to completely enter into the building. Always rise up to the occasion. You're first a watchman to yourself, before others. God will never leave you completely oblivious to what the enemy is about to do. That's far from His nature. For this reason, we are told to watch and pray. What many don't realise is that Jesus places watching before praying. If your watching is accurate, you will know how, and when to pray. Let it not be that your praying is just throwing blows in the air. Everything isn't automatic. For this reason, there is efficiency and effectiveness of process. To be effective spiritually, we must really understand what happens in the spiritual realm. Reminder: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 26, 2020 Topic: Whose I am ✝️ The Spirit's Word: For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Acts 27:23 KJV In Christianity, we don't talk about self, but who owns us. We are bought with a price, which is the blood of Jesus Christ. Paul could boast about who owns him, because God will never fail those who obey Him. The issue is not about making a name for yourself, but proclaiming God and His Word. The day we receive Jesus into our lives, what happened was an agreement to no longer live for self but for Him. It would be a struggle when you still live for self, and expect God to do something about your situation. Paul had this to say: For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Colossians 3:3. We are called to live a hidden life of self, but demonstrate the glorious life of Christ in us. Can you boldly say what Paul said: whose I am? How yielded or surrendered are you to God? For all the things Paul suffered, it didn't stop him from doing what God called him to do. And then, he finished his race, and that was when he was martyred. 2 Timothy 4:7. We can choose to deceive our hearts by thinking it doesn't matter, we all belong to God. Yes, we all belong to God, but you can still end up a frustrated Christian if you don't let God find complete expression through you. Galatians 2:20 says we are crucified with Christ. It means we are dead, but alive only in Him. To be alive in Christ, is to have your will surrendered to Him, because the old you died. In Him we live, move and have our being. What does this tell us? Only in Him; according to His will, purpose, and character can we live a successful life. It is now Christ alive in you. So, we can say that we belong to Him, and at the same time have His testimony that we are his'. When God speaks once, it is both to the spiritual, then to the physical. For this reason, we hear twice. Psalm 62:11. We must think what He wants, and not what we want. That's how to live a surrendered life. Don't be caught up in your own issues, apart from Christ. That's a life of mediocrity. Let Christ always find expression through you, over and over again. Even when men disappoint and hurt you, that's the best time to rise up to the occasion. Without a setback, how can you show or prove that you have the nature of Christ. The essence of Christ is to show God's goodness, grace and mercy in a dark, evil and wicked world. He was called Christ on earth. Jesus is not going to save anyone in heaven, for they don't need salvation. When next you say, "I belong to Jesus", back it up with total submission. Reminder: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:15 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 27, 2020 Topic: Don't Trigger The Curse ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Then I turned and raised my eyes, and saw there a flying scroll. Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: ‘Every thief shall be expelled,’ according to this side of the scroll; and, ‘Every perjurer shall be expelled,’ according to that side of it.” “I will send out the curse, ” says the Lord of hosts; “It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones.” Zechariah 5:1, 3-4 NKJV We live in a day where thieves are celebrated. Once one is assigned a position of authority or responsibility, most often than not, he or she ends up stealing or misappropriating funds or diverting money that is supposed to be for a particular task. This same group of people will throw stones at a thief that stole to feed his family or solve the hunger problem. There is no difference. There is no white thief. The Bible is clear, there is a curse in the house of he that steals. I found it amazing that the other side of the scroll is for the perjurer. There is no thief that doesn't lie or swear falsely. For you to be a thief in the first place, you have to be a "good liar" . The thief is one that has a thought-out plan. He meditates on how and where to go about his misdemeanor. Such will have prepared an answer for every possible question or accusation that might be made at them. You may not carry guns, but changing figures and pocketing that which was not given to you is stealing. Before I discovered the above Scripture, I was also guilty of some these things. I have also been in positions where people have called me names because I didn't yield to their bidding. Don't trigger a curse that lingers to generations after you. It is only the fear of God that keeps men from stealing and lying. If you still find yourself in these iniquities, understand that God isn't pleased with such. He doesn't want a curse upon you, especially when you are His child. The funny thing is that, it's not only this curse from God that applies to a thief. Even the people will curse such a person. When Government funds are misappropriated, the people are grieved. Many curses are flying in the air from such pained souls. Hear what the Preacher said: He that withholds corn, the people shall curse him. Proverbs 11:26. When you deny people what ought to be theirs, they will curse you. It's a normal thing for people to react in such a way to oppression. If you love your family and your generation yet to be born, you will not engage in any form of theft. Whether it is pilfering, theft, diversion, hoarding, inflating, etc., it is not worth it. Some people get involved with other people's venture in other to get gains. When they do, they are like predators that search for unsuspecting preys, who have no idea the actual worth of that good or service, and so they call out ridiculous cost or amount. Don't be wise in your own eyes. It is a great sin. Reminder: Don't give or do to people what you won't take or accept. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 28, 2020 Topic: Let Him Find Nothing ✝️ The Spirit's Word: I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30 NKJV We're in the days of God's grace and mercy. This means that God is not imputing sin to anyone who is born again. Jesus dealt with the sin problem. He took all our sins in His Body when He was crucified, died and buried. He descended into hell as '' sinful Jesus'', but was raised to life as glorious Lord. He didn't return from hell with our sins, but left them there. Hence, He testified, "it is finished". He also spoiled or overcame Satan and his cohorts, when He made an open show of principalities and powers. Colossians 2:15. He rendered the enemy powerless, and stripped him of all his armour. Any power you find the devil wielding today is the one man gave back to him because of sin. Satan is a thief, and he doesn't just steal physical things, but much more, spiritual things. He comes for the gifts of God in a man's life. He wants that power, strength, wisdom, riches, glory, honour and blessings. Make no doubt that he will get it once he comes and finds what belongs to him in you. For this reason, the Lord told us that the evil prince of this world will always come, but He mustn't find anything that belongs to him in your members. Lies, uncleanness, sexual immorality, stealing, evil eye, gossip, evil talks, and the likes, will deposit the filth of the enemy in you life. Sin is a doctrine. The Bible talks about the mystery of iniquity. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7. This means that sin is more than an action. It is a spirit in itself. Don't ever think you can sin, and still be free. Thanks to God for the blood that cleanses us. When the blood cleanses us after we have sinned, what about what the enemy stole. For this reason, God can't use a vessel that is not sanctified. We limit ourselves and spiritual ability or potential when we let sin persist. Hear what God said: If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Genesis 4:7. God identifies sin as a personality. It is the reason for the dark places of the earth that's full of cruelty. Psalm 74:20. It is also the reason the earth was without form, void, and had darkness. Genesis 1:2. So, next time you think of sinning, God will not judge you, or condemn you. It is the enemy that comes. This is where people miss the grace message. It's not time for God to judge anyone. We are in His era of grace and mercy, nevertheless the enemy is the one that pays the wages of sin. Romans 6:23. Reminder: He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. I John 3:8 NKJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 29, 2020 Topic: From Rejection To Approval ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Mark 12:10-11 KJV Our God is marvellous and specialises in doing marvellous acts. He did it for so many in the Bible. The world seeks to bring you down, but God is looking for men to exalt. The stone which the builders rejected and despised became the most important of all. Are you in a situation where men, and the circumstances of life has thrown all manner of darts at you? If only you would turn to God today. He can change your story. He did it for King David. A young Shepherd boy becomes a king, and a most victorious one at that. Don't look for man's approval. It is God that approves forever. Men can't bring you to lasting honour and glory. Only God can lift up a man to the point that nothing, except himself and God, can bring him down again. He approved of Hannah by making her to bare children, thereby ending barrenness. People don't celebrate you until God changes your story. You may use tricks to promote yourself. It won't last, because promotion comes from God alone. Psalm 75:6-7. Tricks come with shame. It may paint a false picture of glory and honour at first, but make no mistake, the end is reproach. Proverbs 20:21; 14:12. God's eyes are ever on the poor, the oppressed, downtrodden, and afflicted. His mercy and compassion is drawn to the righteous and suffering one. It isn't a hard thing for God to change anyone's story. He is eager to do it. It is His will for everyone to prosper and be at peace. However, He is also bound by His Word. There has to be a seeking, and searching for God. There must be a calling out to Him. And this must be in truth. There's nothing more blessed than loving God. Don't be offended in Him. He is the solution to problems, and not the cause of anything that makes for shame, pain or affliction. Jesus lamented over Jerusalem, because He longed to gather His people together, and be one with them, but they refused and denied Him. Luke 13:34. That is God's heart - to be one with us. He longs to endorse us to the world. Surely, we that believe are reconciled to Him, and as such, approved. But there is an approval that makes for a glorious manifestation. All men will see the seal of God in a life God marks out. Except you don't want that. Don't ignore there is a higher plane to arrive at. God's favour is only reserved for them that love Him genuinely. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Don't remain in man's rejection. Latch unto God, and let Him approve of you. Reminder: He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. Psalms 113:7-8 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 30, 2020 Topic: Singularity is Holiness ✝️ The Spirit's Word: The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 6:22-23 KJV The first words God spoke was "let there be light". Light is the first thing, being the substance of God, which is holiness. Seeing is one of the most important things in life. God spoke light before creation because He had to see what the situation was, and what needs to be done to correct what went wrong. Light is the foundation of God. Without light, what we have is darkness, evil, chaos, anarchy, and all manner of wickedness. The opening Scripture tells us to have a single eye, which means our eyes must be holy, both physically and spiritually. God's eyes are too holy to behold iniquity. Habakkuk 1:13. This is a literal truth. God can't look upon evil. He only knows it by His omniscience. What does this tell us? The more evil works you behold, tolerate, accept, indulge, trivialise, demonstrate, and commit, the more darkness floods your life. The eye is the gate. Today, the media is full of all manner evil concupiscence, because the enemy with his craftiness knows that's how to catch men. A lot of people are bound by pornography, leading to inordinate sexual engagements. Don't be ignorant of Satan's devices. He steals light. The Scripture is talking about believers who have exchanged their light with darkness. If the light in you be darkness, how great is that darkness. The unbeliever has no light. The light of men is the life of God. John 1:5. You must expose every hidden work of darkness in your life. Don't keep it secret. Darkness thrives in secrecy. The more you try to hide that sin, the more it occupies your life and becomes a real stranglehold. Don't let Satan kill you. There is no sin that is beyond man's ability to overcome. If you have the Holy Ghost, you can actually be free. Hear what Paul said: And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleeps, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Ephesians 5:11-14. Make no mistakes about it, if darkness thrives in your life, it is death. Light equals to life. Many are in many kinds of bondage. You can be free. Expose the sin, and watch such strongholds break off from you. Let sincerity reign. Reminder: No one has power over your will. Choose to yield to God, and His Word. Take it one day at a time. Resist evil by submitting to God. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Thu, October 1, 2020 Topic: Pray Against The Darkness ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 6-7 KJV Just last night, the Lord was speaking to me, to pray against the darkness, because Revelation chapter thirteen is about to play out. It's about the 666 agenda. We have to understand this is prophecy, and must surely come to pass. However, there is an appointed time for it. The opening Scripture tells us we are the ones to prevent the man of sin from being revealed before his time. Another version puts it this way: The hidden plan to live without any law is at work now, but it will be secret only until the one who is holding it back is out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 CEB. This is real. Looking at the legislature in most developed regions, we can say the New World Order has only one theme: lawlessness. They want to appeal to people's emotions and senses - that you can do anything you want to do. Removing God from every function, they mock religion, but still believe in governance. Order is not only via governance, every sector of life must be guided by law and order. We must be aware that there are human proponents of this lawlessness, who share table with devils. Satan can only work through human beings. By the grace of God, the church isn't sleeping. It takes one man in the Spirit to thwart the works of darkness. Why did I say this? The Bible tells us: Ye are of God little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4. For this reason, we must be more prayerful than ever. As I prayed, I wondered how many of God's ministers, prophets, Apostles, Pastors, etc., are aware of what is currently going on in the shadows. It grieved my heart that many in church still live like they don't perceive the times we are in. We must pray and also exhibit the love of God. Love is the greatest power. Where there is hatred, be sure to find the enemy apparently more powerful that he really is. God told me it is His love being manifested that turns stony hearts into fleshy hearts. We must walk in love more than ever. In as much as we are closer to the rapture of the church than ever, our cooperation with God will prevent the enemy from moving before his appointed time. All it takes is one man to stand in the gap. God is calling out his priests to stop every evil confederacy. Reminder: And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, October 2, 2020 Topic: God's Prophets ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” 2 Chronicles 20:20 NIV The devil has done great harm to the idea of prophets. Many who God has called into this office have not prepared themselves well enough to differentiate the voice of God from that of strangers. Let us be real, there are still prophets of God even today. The fact that many of them now do the devil's bidding unknowingly does not give us the right to totally rule out the idea of prophets. The spiritual plane is made up of good and bad. Satan and his minions are still on the prowl until their appointed time of being cast into the lake of fire. The onus is on every believer to be discerning. This is why we must be grounded in the Word of Truth, and of His grace. Know the Word of God for yourself. 1 Timothy 4:15, 2 Timothy 2:15. With this said, it is also important to have prophets around you. God may not show a prophet something about someone who is unknown to the prophet. But when you have crossed paths with a prophet, that way God can always give a message to you via that prophet. God's way of sending His Word can be through a warning, encouragement, plans for the future, calling in life, reprove, correction, instructions, etc. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We know that scriptures were written by God's servants as they heard the voice of the Holy Ghost. Don't be quick to push away prophecies. It can change your story. God is willing to speak to His people through dreams, visions, and also His prophets. Many can't interpret their dreams and visions, so they cast them off as insignificant. We must be ready to learn. We must also be ready to prove every word we hear from His prophets. I have seen situations change in the lives of many because God's word came for them. Many are going through a labyrinth of issues that they can't even share with anyone. But a word from God will always bring comfort, and a way forward. The opening Scripture saw Jehoshaphat relying in the Lord through His prophet. The Word came, and so did the victory. Think about all the prophets that God gave to the Kings of Israel and his people. If there were no prophets they may never have gotten those victories against heathen nations and tribes. Thank God, there are always men God separates for his people. Everyone may not hear the voice of God, but God's message can always be passed through His servants. Don't follow those that ridicule prophets today. A prophet can bring life and fortune. Reminder: When Prophet Elijah thought he was the only one left of God's servants, God's reply was that 7,000 of his servants were reserved in the same nation. 1 Kings 19. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, October 3, 2020 Topic: Live in His Bounty ✝️ The Spirit's Word: O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord , ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Psalms 34:8-10 KJV Kindly read the opening Scripture more than once. Digest it. It has the solution to what many are challenged with. Many are in lack and want. Even the Bible tells us that the poor will always be here on earth. You don't have to be in that lot. You can actually live in the bounty of our gracious God. We are instructed to taste and see. How to taste and see His goodness is the big question. God is not insecure, neither is He uncertain about His abilities. He can do all things. Let's recall the children of Israel in the wilderness. They ate manna and meat for 40 years in the wilderness, without sowing and reaping. This is reality. God can do all things, and also exceedingly and abundantly beyond all we can ask and think. Ephesians 3:20. Have you been overwhelmed by God yet? Perhaps you've heard how God blessed people financially, and you wonder when it will be your turn, just be in love with God. It's the secret. Remove all guile, pride, offence, unforgivingness, deception, etc., from your heart. Wasn't it the Lord that fed the multitude with miracle bread and fish? He did this twice. John 6, Mark 8, Matthew 14-15. How can we say He was poor, when He did all these things? He even had a treasurer in the person of Judas for helping the poor. John 13:29. If you would just love God, all it takes is for Him to open your eyes. He doesn't need to rain manna or quails from heaven, neither would He make money miraculously appear in your room. He would open your eyes to see money everywhere you turn. This is a secret many will never understand. The Psalmist said: The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him;... he will shew them his Covenant. Psalms 25:14. To fear God is to love Him wholeheartedly, and also do what He commands. What is this Covenant God wants to show the one who fears and loves Him? But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18. We have to remember God in all we do - in our thoughts, words, and actions. It's a matter of the heart, to first consider God before doing, saying and thinking. To love is to give, and giving means all of you, back to God and your neighbours. If you're not living this sacrificial life everyday, then it's still a mirage. Reminder: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 KJV. |
