Hello, am searching for secondary school for my daughter and someone recommended Babcock university High School. Does anyone know about the school or other schools, christian based preferably. I also have Deeper Life High School and Faith Academ on the list. I reside in Port Harcourt. Some experienced advise will really be appreciated.

Try Jesuit Memorial, PH. It is the Abuja Loyola Jesuit school in PH. If the admission is for 2020/2021 session, you are already late as the common entrance has already been done. Admission into that school and that of Loyola Jesuit, Abuja is very competitive.

Btw, is your consideration only for christian based secondary schools in PH?.

Thanks a lot. It's for this 2020/2021. My consideration is not limited to Christian schools but schools some good academic and moral track record. I live in PH and I know most schools here are just business enterprises where all that is required is to pay their fees and you're enrolled. I want Schools with some level of academic competitiveness and not just money as mode of enrollment.

Iam not familiar with missionary schools in PH. Most high level missionary schools are presently doing their common entrances. You might still get a chance for second batch for some of them. Iam only familiar with missionary schools in the Lagos and Ogun states axis. The academic and moral discipline is quite high. In addition, you might need to specify your preferences for people to better help you. Things like:

(a) Is the child a boy or a girl
(b) Single sex school(i.e. boys or girls only) or mixed
(c) Full Boarding or Day or a mix of the two
(d) preferred location

Thank you. She is a girl and I prefer full boarding either mixed or single sex. Good missionary Schools in the Lagos-Ogun axis will be nice. Ondo state will be fantastic. Do you know about the Babcock university high school in Ogun state?

I do not know about them. It should be a good school being that it is owned by Babcock University. I rate Babcock university highly. The schools i considered for my daughter then were:

(1) Loyoya Jesuit, Abuja (mixed and boarding)
(2) Holy Child College, SW Ikoyi, Lagos (Girls only and boarding)
(2) Louisville Girls High school, Ijebu Itele, Ogun state (Girls only and boarding)

I finally settled for Holy Child College as Loyola Jesuit was a bit on the high side for me. No complaints so far and she is now in JSS 3.

Btw, Jesuit Memorial PH is equally good but they have conducted their common entrance. If you are interested in them, you can find out from them if they have second batch.

Centrix:
:Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja
Graceland High School, PH
Jesuit Memorial College, PH
Ambassadors College,Ota

These are the most academically consistent schools in the country right now. They all seem to be christian-oriented.

I'd also mention Nigerian Turkish Intl Schools (Abuja and Ogun) but they aren't christian oriented.

Loyola Jesuit Abuja and Jesuit Memorial PH have already done their common entrances and they do not have second batch. The pass rate is always very high in the common entrance. So no room for second batch as the common entrance acceptance rate by parents of those that pass is very high. The OP started late in his search.
