The government is pretending coronvirus is not coming to us. As of today, the virus is gaining ground like wild fire. Most Chinese cities have been shut down. It has picked up in Europe and major Asian cities. There is no sign this virus will not be pidemic in coming months.
Are our government prepared ? What would happen if lagos is shut down and businesses and schools closed ?
How are people going to survive and how are people going to receive basic survival items like foods and drinking waters?
Transportation? How are people going to be transported from one place to another?
Quarantine hospitals need to be in place by now. The little ones we had for ebola are not enough for corona virus. In a place like lagos with huge population, a huge estate has to be separated for a disease like corona that infects like wildfire . Nigerians have more physical contacts with each others than other places so the rate and speed of infection when it comes here will likely be higher. Are we prepared?
Get your medical gloves and N95 masks ready. Yes. i said medical gloves and N95 masks. Only N95 masks can filter a virus like conona, the basic dusk masks do not filter it. Get prepared folks.
And for those traveling to their villages to escape the high rate of infection in the cities, you have fulani herdsmen to contend with on our highways. They are worse than corona. Nothing can save you from them. They show no mercy and they are themselves laws. Security officials do not scare them or even fight them. They fear no government.
