IS DANGOTE FROM OIL PRODUCING AREA? - RESOURCE CONTROL NOW!

The nine top oil producing states in Nigeria are:

Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD)
Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD)
Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD)
Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD)
Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD)
Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD)
Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD)
Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD)
Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD) (Nigerian bureau of Statistics 2017)

Resource Control is what USA states, Switzerland, France and many other countries have. Because it is fair!

Is Dangote from oil producing area? So why is he controlling resources of others by building oil refinery? Why him?

Lagos is oil producing so is ok for refinery to be in oil producing area.

Dangote should control the resources of Arewa.

Resource Control is fair. It is what will make Nigeria work nicely.

Together with Borders Control and Self-Determination.

Lol.. see reasoning!... So in essence, a businessman from Enugu state or Oyo has no right to own a petrol station, just as Dangote has no right to own a refinery, because their states dont have oil?

...and if you check very well, the OP who wrote this may even be a degree holder. No wonder they say common sense isnt common.

Dangote is Nigerian. The oil belongs to Nigeria. So he is free to do business in the sector like every other Nigerian.

how many times would we remind you people that Dangote isn't piping oil from NigerDelta, but buying it from international crude oil market like all standard refineries wouldwide do... he doesn't give a fvck about your oil..

and for your information most oil rigs you claim are yours in the true sense are in Nigerian Internation water space, and not your state territory.. International politics, how far into the ocean you can claim is how wide your country goes inwards inland so if not for north strectching Nigeria back the oil rig would be on international waters, aka no mans land

Rubbish talk.

He's building a refinery your government despite massive gains from oil wealth have refused to build. You are shouting Dangote!

Better be grateful to him.

Crude oil refined in your country will cost much less at the pump than the ones imported.

Once again, thank him.

Anybody can build refinery. It doesn’t have to be somebody from an oil producing area. He will be buying crude at international oil price and not getting it free from Niger Delta.

what kind of reasoning is this? this is a faulty one born out of hatred that is why you brought in tribe into it, Your mentality is one of the reasons why most Nigerians are seeking to disintegrate.
do petrol station deal directly with natural resources besides going by the OP's reasoning, an Igbo man can own a refinery because there are oil producing states in the south eastern region.

Just when you think the dumbness would end with the OP who was probably either drunk or just an illiterate (forgivable), someone else comes to reinforce the senseless outburst.

First and foremost, I do not know the tribe of the OP, I never mentioned nor referred to any tribe, and in anticipation of ignorant comments like yours, I ensured I gave my example using Enugu and Oyo states (I probably should have also mentioned Kano state to complete the tripod). So for the love of God, how on earth did you still interpret that comment to be hate against a tribe (of which I'm also even a part of)? undecided

Like they say, "those who kill by the sword will die by the sword". You just exposed yourself as a feeble minded, shameless tribalist with your opening statement; that explains why in your paranoia, without even assimilating what I wrote, you ignorantly assumed I also swim in the same shameless cesspit (no apologies for my hard words).

Now let's get back to the topic; what the OP has said is dumb, and you just re-echoed it. Anybody from any part of the world has a right to build, own and operate a petrol station, refinery, food manufacturing business etc. as long as they get the required licenses. You cant say a man from Bayelsa state shouldn't own a tomato paste production plant because the raw material (fresh tomatoes) he needs will be coming from a farm in Kano (he will buy the tomato from wherever he can). Likewise, you cant say a businessman from Sokoto has no right to own a palm oil processing plant because palm trees dont grow in his state (he will buy the palm fruits from wherever he can). Finally, you cant say a businessman from Kano has no right to own a refinery because crude isn't drilled in his state (he will buy the crude from wherever he can, he would NOT get the raw material for free).

The reason Nigeria remains a shithole is because we have so many people (both educated and uneducated) wielding your repulsive hate mentality all over the place. Recently someone (with your kind of mentality) said they will blow up the Dangote refinery cos an Hausa man shouldn't be owning a refinery when oil isnt in the north. Nothing could be more bizarre than for someone with your brand of hateful ignorant reasoning now being the one accusing me of hate. Enough said!
