Forget the current crop of leaders at the top, with the way corruption is so interwoven into the fabric of this country, not even the next three generations can turn things around.

Not a fair comparison by any stretch.

You are only allowed to compare a third world country with a third world country.

Otherwise, it will be like comparing a chicken coop with a king's chambers.

Stop it. sad

You take the worst of a Nigerian hostel and compare it with the best from developed countries.
There are certain prison cells in those countries that are no different from that Nigerian hostel.

They are both government properties

That is not a valid question in my humble opinion.

Norway is located in Western Europe.

There was never a time the Scandinavian countries were colonized or were third world countries. (I stand to be corrected)

You can't compare Apples with engine oil.

Funny that they have such prison in Norway. The entire Nordic region is 27million people in total, which means less crimes, government is able to monitor and secure everyone, makes sense to have correctional homes like this. You can’t have that in a region where you have over 200, 500million people, crime will be high, lot of inmates and a bigger prison.

But Nigeria tho, our prison system is bad because it’s been abused, I think government should encourage private prison where the inmates can at least live in better condition and government can and will be able to hold Whoever is in charge accountable

You are wrong. There was a time Europe was faced with hunger and diseases. They had to move round the world in search of food. Even the white said it when he came to Igbo land to be precise:

He admitted that in your land he found no destitutes, no beggars and no prostitutes which he had in his country

That is the more reason we should support the call to dismember this country into manageable sizes

All those foreign countries if that’s how cool der prison looks like I think people sleeping on the street should just commit crime and go to the prison the comfort zone u seeing but there’s nothing like freedom man forget the beauty of the prison.

that is why he compared a Hostel to a Prison. That compensates for the 3rd world and Developed country disparity

Even at that, it doesn't.

A prison is much like a hostel, just that inmates don't have the freedom to move out of the location at will.

You sef na mumu you be. Have you been able to compare Norway prisons with a 3 star hotel in USA? You’d be amazed to see how Norway prisons beats American 3 star hotels hands down. I’m not even talking about comparing it with American prisons because there’s nothing to talk about American prisons and now you left the whole world and focused on the dirtiest hostel in Africa. What do you take Norway for my dear? You need rehabilitation o. I swear.

if they were to Make that hostel better, the only reason they would be doing that is if there is something in it for them.
Nigerian government don't just do projects any how, there has to be something they can gain financially. Damn!
