Amotekun had being in the pipeline for over a year with governors meeting every 3 months and they have just reached first reading and public hearing of its backing laws... what would happen in 90 days? get Fg approval, by operational cars, legislate laws and get funding formulae? this people hardly think things through before rushing to press

Be that as it may, I don't think the SE needs a regional security outfit, in fact no region does.
Every state has it's own peculiar security needs and the states are best positioned to handle them directly.
This whole regional stuff stems from mutual distrust and suspicion among regions.
Moreover I'm sure the SE groups calling for a SE security outfit are doing so towards achieving secession.......... eventually.
Anyway shame on SE governors, it's as a result of their failure and incompetence that groups such as this can just spring up issuing threats at will.
SE needs a complete leadership overhaul.

These people and their funny way of doing things. They forget that this kind of development involves adequate strategy and planning.
