“There must be an end to litigation even if we review this judgment, every disaffected litigant will bring similar applications and the finality of Supreme Court judgments will be lost.”------- Justice Amina Augie

With these words, of Justice Amina, I can confidently say that the application of Emeka Ihedioha for review is DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

That statement by Justice Amina Augie was particularistic to Bayalsa Election. The statement was never made in a general sense so stop consoling yourself.
The Imo State judgment must be reviewed by the Apex Court in it entirety & Mr. Ihedioha at the end of the day will be return. Mark my word & today's date.

In bayelsa the defence council failed to point out error........but for IMO, they are not asking SC to reverse itself......... But to enforce the judgement that declared Nwosu the candidate of two parties (APC/AA)......... Which translate to both parties not having a candidate, so they never participated in the said election.

That's not the reason why it is dead on arrival though.

I believe the fact that the lawyers in the Bayelsa case who were fined N10 million will make other lawyers run away from such stupidity as asking the Supreme Court to review her judgement.

Neither PDP nor Emeka was a party to that particular suit, therefore was not a beneficiary of that judgment. Recall it was APC intra-party affairs. Citing Ishaku vs Aisha (mamaTaraba) 2015 and Ortom Vs Tersor 2015, PDP and Ihedioha are gone for good.

I agree it will be technically difficult to revisit the Imo case but your assumptions are wrong.....

In the suit of Zamfara that was quashed by the CJN...PDP was also not a party to the suit.

In the case of the HoR member representing Yola/Girei constituency , Modibbo
.....PDP was also not a party to the suit.

In the case of Zamfara, it was a matter of APC not conducting the primary election as required by law and NOT a case of who actually won the party's primary. In the case of Imo, it was a matter of who actually won the Part's primary and NOT the issue of APC failing to conduct the primary.
They are not comparable.
The Supreme Court agreed with Uche Nwosu as the authentic candidate of APC, but having contested the election under AA, his APC canditure was therefore nullified ,giving chance for Hope to become the APC candidate legally.
