I am always proud of Jonathan, PMB gives me no reason to be proud of his administration.
Buhari uses Boko boys to tarnish Goodluck's name but now he's in power for years and still blaming Jonathan.
Buhari is a disgrace to any Patriotic citizens of Nigeria

if pdp were in power ,corona viruse is a small thing not to have be in nigeria,
pdp will even import it by now the same way they impoted ebola just to make money from it
Eeehh... Is that so??

So PDP will import the virus just like buhari opened the borders not for importation or exportation of goods, but to import his terrorists brothers into Nigeria to kill and at the end of the day he will reward them with lands belonging to indeginous people.

So Fasola Government screened all the passenger in all our entry points, eg Abuja airpot and Lagos Quarantined potential carrriers all over the country ?

When did screening start? Wasn't after Sawyer got in and infected people? Who rounded up all the infected people? Who paid volunteers 75k per day? The one person that escaped and went to Port Harcourt was tracked down by who? When health officials from Sierra Leone came, where did they go for help? Why do Nigerians like twisting facts??

Ebola was fought witb same system that was set up for the fight against polio. It was a system developed by the FG under the former Minister of Health. It was a FG led effort, through and through.

Fashola, and Amaechi, contributed to the effort i their various states under this system.

Same system and Patrick Sawyer got in? Dr Adadevoh needs to give you a knock from heaven for your lie.

You are sounding incoherent already.... So Lagos state government was responsible for the quarantine kept in place then? Or there were also responsible for inspection at MMIA

Actually, you're the one with comprehension issues. There was quarantine and Patrick Sawyer wasn't nabbed at the airport? We only got to know about Patient Zero because he went to the hospital and Dr Adadevoh made sure he was detained while she alerted the Lagos state ministry of health. Tracking down everybody he come in contact with was the reason we were able to contain it.

As for your question about quarantine, yes Lagos State government was the first to set up quarantine and it was done without any input from the FG.

The present government response to coronavirus is more impressive than that of Ebola. Without any victim, we now have reserved centre, money has been allocated. Assuming Ebola was taken serious like this. The guy that brought Ebola to Nigeria will be detected at airport. Today we have prevention while then is cure. Thanks.
The Chinese Nationals that were tested at a private hospital in Lagos passed through MMIA without being tested or quarantined undecided
This government is ill prepared, forget all the noise they are making

You people should stop twisting the narrative. It's not even up to a decade, don't think we've forgotten.

It was Lagos State government under Fashola that swung into action when Ebola got into the country. If that disease had entered the country through another terminal, the casualties would have been countless. The 1billion GEJ claimed to have released vanished. There were NO testing or quarantine centers in Abuja airport as someone up there claimed. A family friend of mine that travelled to Uganda during the Ebola crises complained about how passengers from West Africa were detained at their airport for about 8 hours and weren't released until several tests were carried out. A fellow 3rd world country o. Meanwhile, arrivals at Nnamdi Azikiwe airport were strolling in freely without any disturbance.

Fashola government in less than 24, hours opened at least 11 testing and quarantine centers across the state, a 24 hour toll free Ebola helpline and numerous public service announcements on how to prevent the disease without any support from FG. So why should it be GEJ administration that should given credit?

Right now at our airports, they are thoroughly screening passengers including thermal screening.

It is not by force to always start needless and ignorant argument for likes, tribalism and bigotry.

The Ebola heroes in Nigeria are Nigerians, the brave patriotic doctors in Lagos and Fashola.

This statement is very silly.

Oga, does Lagos state govt have capacity to contain Ebola in Nigeria?
Is the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba (that handled Ebola cases) owned
by Lagos or FG?

I remember, a medical doctor died in Port Harcourt while some others
in PH and Enugu survived the Ebola. Was it Fashola that saved them?

Must we politicise everything in this country including our own health?

I remember the Minister of Health under GEJ ( can't remember his name now) furnishing
Nigerians with updates on a daily basis about Ebola. How often do you hear about CoronaVirus
from Buhari's Minister of Health?

Even Buhari's own anointed Senate is today blaming the Executive for not doing enough
to contain CoronaVirus eventual outbreak

Do you think Buhari will blink an eye lid if you (yes, you defending him) drop dead today to CoronaVirus when you're not
Yusuf, Zahra nor Hanan?

Keep fooling yourself, Zombie !

The tracking of EVERY BODY Who had contact with Sawyer was done by the FG through the committee of the Centre for Disease control.

That Ebola response was coordinated by the FG.

State Govts like Lagos and Rivers only played a part.

These are the facts and are undisputable.

One funny thing in Nigeria is that those that do not have the information often claim to know it all. I don't know the reason why they do so. I guess it could be as a result of some personal interest which they want to protect at all cost.

The guy you quoted sounds as the proverbial one eye man in the midst of a blind community. Just read the veracity of his writeup.

If Covid-9 is diagnosed in Nigeria, we all know how the government will react. From one lie to another and the death rate will be enormous. Nigeria is like a moving vehicle without a driver.
