It an aberration that this site has deteriorated to an irredeemable state. It is heart rending that it has plunged to a puerile state where all sorts of balderdash are discussed. The disparity between what is discussed here and what happens out there is majorly.Eighty percent of things that are discussed here are quixotic, utopian and irrelevant. This occurs mostly in romance section. I believe it's time we stopped deluding ourselves and come to grip with the realities of life. Let no one live in fool's paradise. Shalom! |

I kinda agree with the op, important threads are often drowned in tales of nairaland e love. Most abhorrent is the Mr. cork dude, that guy gets on my nerves and I cringe each time I see a post from him. |

The OP is right. I totally agree with him. There are a slew of nonsense threads that are posted each day. I don't think that you all should be so quick to pelt him with insults. He has made a valid point. When I first joined Nairaland I stupidly thought I would see some serious relationship issues being discussed here [not to say that all posts are meaningless] but I was sorely mistaken. I know that some people come here to relax and unwind but c'mon people lets admit, some of the things here are both mind boggling and just plain sad. I'm not saying we should all be super serious its just that at times, I can't help but shake my head. |
