That professor should be quarantined for the next 14 days. Look at how he is putting his nose up and down without any protective equipment. I saw the Chinese cover from head to toe and still some of them still got infected and a so called prof is here going up and down an infectious disease centre with no coverings at all. Our own things must just be different sha.

Until recently there were only two diagnostic laboratories in Sub-Saharan Africa that were capable of diagnosing diseases like the Corona Virus and Ebola. One is in South Africa and the other is in Senegal. During the Ebola crisis, test samples were flown from Nigeria to the Pastur Institute in Senegal. Now there are three such laboratories in Nigeria, one in Lagos, one in Abuja and one in Benin.

Update, the Infectious Diseases Hospital is now capable of running tests for the Corona Virus.

But Buhari can junkets around the globe without providing medical facilities in Nigeria

No joke with coronavirus, it is a different ball game compared to Ebola. Anytime an infected person coughs or sneezes, the air in the environment is polluted with the virus because the virus is air borne.

Maybe hes trying to form to get popularity against the next coming election, Nigeria politicians can do anything to campaign. grin
Almost making someone to believe there's no such case of Covid19 in Nigeria, could be a plan to siphon more money, who knows. Money must be made anyhow.

I don't trust Nigerians with this.
The health commissioner first peep thru the window and this is someone that should know much better. Imagine the cheap nosemask the health personnel used too without covering the head.
I personally don't believe the virus is in Nigeria. Its a planned work to make money off the news. In few days time we shouldn't be surprised if they tell us the Italian man was misdiagnosed.
